The location itself was fine. The problem was that I had made the reservation 5 weeks (Aug 8) in advance indicating that I needed to pick the unit up at your Water St location in Peterborough. I received a phone call the day before to confirm the reservation and the rep said I had to pick the unit up in Lindsay. Lindsay is 45 minutes FURTHER from the cottage than Peterborough would have been. Similarly I had indicated that I wanted to drop the unit off in Waterloo when I was finished and was told that would be no problem. There are 3 u-haul locations within 1.5 kilometres of the final destination but I was told to drop it off at 1241 Ottawa st S which is 20-25 minutes from the final destination. It makes no sense to me that I had to use a specific location for drop off when you COULDN'T arrange to have the unit I was renting at the originally agreed upon location.
