No uhaul signage, no key drop, attendant didn’t have any knowledge about the drop off process and had to spend 20 min on another call (3x in two days) to get a lock code to leave the keys. Really bad experience overall

The order was to pickup and drop off at same location. The proprietor at the location said to NOT drop off as his location, but that any UHaul would work. That was fine with me and would save about 20 min of driving. However, after using the truck, we drove to the nearest UHaul where THANKFULLY very nice people told me that I'd pay $500 extra for not dropping off at the place I picked it up. They referred me to a rental center nearby. Upon going there they calculated $218 for drop-off at any place other than where I rented from. So... back to original pickup location. They still tried to refuse taking the truck and were saying that they would contact UHaul and ensure that I could drop off elsewhere. I used mobile, did the return myself and handed them the keys. Whatever they were saying was not my problem and likely some kind of scam.
