Polite guy. But no help. I’m 62. I had to unhook the 6x12 trailer by myself. It’s really heavy. And no walk-around to check the unit or see if it was cleaned out (it was). Just not what I’ve experienced with other uhaul vendors.

Help load trailer onto truck would have been nice, I had to life the heavy trailer by myself and take it off by myself.
RAYMOND NTerrible experience overall. I called and asked to speak to someone for some assistance during my rental which was Wednesday of last week, it’s now Monday several days after requesting and I have since dropped off the rental and I am still waiting for a call back. Customer service was terrible, the reservation was made and confirmed only later to be told at the pick up location that they had no trucks, the people I spoke to on the phone said I had been notified and had “confirmed no trucks were at that location but no emails or confirmation texts were sent to me. I wouldn’t have shown up to pick up said truck if that was the case. I ended up with a reservation from another location only to arrive home and no dolly was included which I had paid for. I had to call around and find a dolly where I could go then and pick it up. I rented it for 10am that morning and it was noon and I was still driving around tracking down the dolly. It was the absolute worse experience I have had with U-Haul and I have a strong feeling this comment is going to fall on deaf ears as I am still waiting on a call from someone who was suppose to help me resolve my initial issues… last week. The cherry on top was when I dropped the truck off with a full tank, physically full to the brim only to be told by the attendant that I might be charged because the estimated mileage that can be driven with that tank of gas was lower than the amount registered initially when I picked it up, I explained to the gentleman that this was because of how the truck is driven and the MPG calculated. The gas tank was full to the brim and I should not be charged, I tried explaining this over and over to him but he could not be bothered, with the door to the store partially cracked open as I tried explaining and passing the key to him he slowly just kept closing it as to make me feel it wasn’t his problem and I should leave. I have rented trucks in Florida when I lived there and had pleasant experiences but Georgia is a completely different ball game. Very disappointing.
