At drop off I was basically just told to hand over keys they'd check mileage/email me if I owed anything... probably recommend more through check in progress than that.Johanna H.
The location I reserved my truck from was closed in the day of my reservation and I wound up paying for a larger truck at another location. Their only recompense is that I did receive my $50 reservation fee back but my move was out off for more than two hours and we worked way into the evening to move as that day was the only day to do so. Will not recommend uhaul to anyone else. Also had to call the toll free number on the website and waited for them 45 minutes in the uhaul parking lot just to talk to a representative.CHRISTOPHER W.

I was to return my truck to Wimbish BarberShop location, then was informed to take it to either Riverside or Gray HWY...took it to Tiverside as it was closer, only to be told to take to Gray HWY location! Should have received a call, as I did before the move, informing me exactly where to return the truck! However, at Gray HWY location, The woman who took charge, was AWESOME! The site was confusing to say the least! But all worked out due to this kind, professional and woman who checked me in:) The other guy was more concerned about his own personal problems, telling us about them, then turned it all over to the lady! Thank God! She was easy to talk to and well informed, PROFESSIONAL! I only wish I could remember her name:/TRACI A.

The truck was not ready when I arrived, as the hand truck and dollies I rented were not in the truck. The mobile check-in experience was completely unhelpful, as it referenced a lockbox that was not obvious and described the truck's location using photos that were no longer accurate (showed the truck near a sign that does not exist anymore, if it ever did). The photos of the truck during the mobile check-in process were taken from so far back they were completely unhelpful, since a host of dings and dents to the truck were not visible, and since I am pretty sure they would have charged me for them, I had to take close-up photos of everything. Checking the truck back in was even worse, as the website told me to return the keys to the dropbox and only then gave instructions for taking a photo of the odometer and gas gauge, which I couldn't do without the key. Failure to take a photo means I couldn't complete the check-in process, which would have meant an additional $20 fee. And, to top it all off, the entire process for me was tainted by the fact that I had arranged for a truck at a location closer to me but I was switched to this location (which is further from my house) so I had to pay a bunch more in mileage charges and I used more gas. Did I mention this was during a fuel shortage crisis? That meant I faced the choice of either driving all over, looking for gas (wasting more gas and incurring extra mileage charges) and maybe running out of gas, or else turning the truck back in and paying the equivalent of $9-10 per gallon for the gas I used. Ah well, the joys of moving, I suppose?Jeremy K.
The staff members were efficient and friendly, and the only suggestion I have is that you hire more reps for this location. There was only one employee on duty when I picked up, and later when I dropped off the truck.ANITA W.

Service your truck's. Im a automotive technician and the truck that was rented to me had a lot of play in the steering wheel as of the brakes were soft. You have to slam on the brakes to make the truck stop. I was trying to return the truck april 10 later that night only to find no signs telling you where to drop the keys off. In which when i ask before I left the lot when i received the truck no one seemed to know anything on where the return key drop box was. Leaving the lot april 10 that night the brakes failed as the truck slide through 2 sets of red lights rite down the road from the u hual destination. Putting me and my stepdaughter life in jeopardy... only to return the truck april 11 i told them about the truck. That truck needs to be taking to a mechanic shop.
