When we picked up the trailer and got down the road a been in the trailer tire broke. This caused a horrible shake in our vehicle. When I called a local place I was advised to call customer service. We started heading to the dealer in case they could help. Called customer support and was advised we would be waiting 30-90 mins for someone to come help us. Then she attempted to send us to a repair dealer. Which was Jonny closing but didn’t have a new tire. The other place she attempted to send us was 53 mins in the opposite direction. When we arrived to the local dealer the guy was able to take a tire off a unit he had and switched it for the bad tire on the unit we had. Customer service was absolutely no help at all!! And maybe haul need to have their places that rent the units need to check them all and make sure they are not only safe but in good working order. This is a huge safety issue and a big inconvenience as a paying customer. Then I was sent a email that my drop off location was about an hour from my home: The only thing that went nice about this rental was the staff at haul in Conroe helping me switch the drop off to closer to my home: Get it together U-Haul and make sure the units are safe and customers are treating correctly

The clerk was nice, helpful, and did her job well, however a vehicle rental location shouldn’t be at a gas station. The rep had to assist customers with purchasing gas, lottery tickets and returning vehicles.

CECIL MTruck heater didn’t work and truck had not been vacuumed out and had crumbs and stuff over dash and floor. A hand truck we didn’t rent was left inside and rolled all over until we opened and discovered it and it had broken welds. Junk! Uhaul software never lets you upload the required photos… took over 20 minutes then upon the return something went wrong in software and never received final statement/refund. Had to call uhaul to fix and make a second trip into rental location! These issues seem to be pretty common every time we use Uhaul…seems to be your company’s baseline of service! Uhaul gets by with it because not too many other choices.
