checked brake lights and signal lights. They worked but did not realize that running lights didn't work until it got dark.



This dealer was a convenience store. The employee was horrible. He had trouble completing the paperwork on the computer. He was lazy and did not want to help me load the trailer. He played childish games to keep from working. He grunted and complained when he had to do any work. I will never rent anything from this location.

The truck was dirty in the back with trash and dirt, the passenger door mirror as very loose, drivers door popped when opening/closing and the location only had half the blankets I ordered. I tightened mirror so that I could use, oiled the door for easier and quite operation and cleaned out the back.



Prices change should be told before time to customers.

My initial drop point was Hilltop Food & Storage. Upon arrival I was informed by the owner he no longer was a U-Haul location. After some 30 minutes of discussion with U-Haul representative Lisa Marie, decision was made to redirect my drop off to the Madison, GA location. This added significant time my drop off processing and put a negative end to an otherwise excellent rental experience.

This guy was gonna charge an extra $75 dollars because we didn't return it to our pick up point which was in North Carolina since once again, he either didn't know how to search for the contract confirmation online which had all the info or your data system doesn't make it that easy for them. I will never use your trucks again. wasted precious time at both places trying to get the people to give us a truck or take it back.

The 5x Cargo Trailers door was very hard to raise and close. In fact we were worried that if we cintinued to open & closevit the door would break. We were stopped by the snow and had to spend the night on the road and that is when we noticed how hard it was to open and close the door when getting our luggage out another thing is is the lack of training the people have about hooking the trailer up! When we got home from getting the trailer the first time my husband stepped into the trailer the trailer jumped off the hitch flying up into the air. We were so lucky tat this didn’t happen as we were going home. Yes they need more training about how to hitch up the equipment.

The U-haul trailers do not have jacks. When I picked my trailer up the representative jacked it up with his jack and connected it to my truck. When I was ready to drop the trailer off I was told they didn't have a jack. My truck jack was under a lot of items I was moving so I could not get to it. Finally, the only was I could disconnect from the trailer was to remove the pin holding my receiver and drive from under the trailer.

Store owner/s offer no physical assistance for hook up. Fortunately I have had enough experience with trailers to do it myself. However, someone with no experience would be at their mercy.

My whole experience with uhaul with the exception of the woman at fort peirce uhaul was extremely horrible and unacceptable would never reccomend anyone i know to use uhaul services.

Using convenience stores for u-haul rentals is not good for customer service. Having to wait for trailer checkout in between the gas and soda customer purchases then having to find my trailer and hook the equipment up myself also having to use parts off of other trailers (electrical harness and chain hook rubber grommet) that were missing from the trailer that was assigned to me are all bad for business. I hope UHaul's savings with this particular business model are worth the hits it is taking to customer satisfaction. I think a few dollars more for rentals in exchange for more dedicated service would be acceptable to most customers.

Personnel was very rude and disrespectful. I filled the truck with gas on the mark where it was when I picked it up . The truck was new, but the gas needle did not match the paperwork . The gas symbols matched the older model trucks. I filled the truck to 7/8 at another gas station. When I returned the truck,Personnel said I had to put more gas in the truck. I explanined that I filled it to the mark where it was when I picked it up. He raised his voice at me stating NoNo, this is where it should be . My husband tried to explain it to him, he did not want to hear it, he was angrily making gestures towards the paper. In order for him not to bill my credit card we put ten dollars more in and the truck was completely filled. It was not full when I picked it up.
