Jeff at Laurel Park Tire was AMAZING. He was friendly, helpful, and trusted us with our truck! We did not notice a crack in the windshield until we pulled off, and we called immediately to report the issue! We could not add a photo of the damage to our initial inspection report, so we panicked! Jeff reassured us, told us not to drive back just for that issue, and wished us a happy, productive move. After we experienced just that, we returned the truck to Jeff, who could NOT possibly have been kinder, easier to work with, or more trustworthy. Our truck was clean in the cab, swept out and clean in the back, and in fantastic condition. This was THE best UHaul experience we have had in years of renting, and we will ONLY return to Jeff when we move to our farm later this year!!! Thank you, Jeff!

The rental experience was very good, I can’t think of any way to improve the process.
Johnny GI appreciate this location bc if it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t have used U-Haul. The first reservation I had with U-Haul sent me to a west main st. Location in Danville. Once I arrived they tried to charge me an additional $120 when I was paying with a card. I left and was helped by the guy on mt. Cross rd in Danville, Va and had to drive to Martinsville to pick up the truck. I was told I would be given 25 miles for going to get the truck and 25 miles for the hassle but when I look at my card I’m being charged more money. This has been very stressful with the move.
mekeba nGirl at counter was super nice… however it’s an auto repair business that has UHaul. U-Haul not their priority. They constantly could not access computer. (We had to go there 2 days even though it had been booked online well ahead). Truck was fine mechanically, but had obvious damage from hitting something with the mother’s attic. We had to tarp the entire truck the 2 days it took to load, as it leaked badly and was raining on and off those days.
GABRIELLE TThe truck we wanted was 15 ft. 2 days before pickup they informed it wasn’t available. We changed to a 10 ft. The day before pickup the pickup location was changed to another location. Ok not so bad it was still close. We had a 5 1/2 hour drive and the truck did not have working AC. Not good for going south in August. I called when ready to turn it in and was given a location. Went straight there and they were closed. Had to call again. Left our key in the drop box with original copy of contract. Said they would call me but have not yet.
