This comment is not in regards to the drop-off location, but with U-Haul itself. The drop off location was great and very helpful. Why do the trucks not have cruise control options? Cruise control should be mandatory. I've moved a lot across the country, driving 10+ hours and my feet are killing me days afterwards. All of the trucks I've rented sound like the exhaust is falling off or running straight header pipes, forcing me to wear ear buds the entire time driving. I've also never rented a U-Haul truck where the steering wheel actually pointed straight when driving straight. Last but not least, make sure you are complete the pre-vehicle inspections before leaving as I guarantee the fuel level does not match your contract paperwork, as these people checking in the trucks when they return don't know how to read the gauges properly. All trucks should have mandatory FULL tank requirements when returned, This would eliminate the guessing fuel level B.S.. Take a ton of photos and document everything.
