At 11:22am I was heading to pick up my 12:00 pick up reservation. I received a call saying the 26 foot took I rented online wouldn’t be available as promised. The U-Haul employee was very rude while explaining the issues. Very bold when the company made the mistake. We had 5 moves coming to our house at 12:00 expected to have the rental for 2 days. She offered another pick up location 25 miles from my house at $1.19/miles. This entire experience with U-Haul has been a nightmare. The mobile self service option is a pain. Although you don’t have to talk to a representative, you have to take pictures of everything in a tightly confined area. I couldn’t even fit the truck into the frame because it was against a fence, another truck and a busy road. Honestly we would probably pay movers next time.
