Picking up the truck at this site was a better-than-expected experience. Kimberly phoned me as my wife and I were a couple of hours away and asked whether we would be arriving at 2:30, the time I had indicated on the online form. I told her we would actually be a little early. Kimberly volunteered to move up her lunch break to be sure that she was in office when we arrived. When we got there, she was helpful and pleasant and the truck was just as expected.

U-haul smelled strongly of marijuana!
Susan BThe representative did not want to take the time to properly inspect the truck with me so that I could verify everything was in order. This was disappointing and did not reflect good customer service. I felt rushed, and my concerns were not given proper attention. I believe customer service requires patience, professionalism, and a willingness to serve well. At minimum, a representative should be willing to walk through an inspection to ensure clarity and accountability for both parties. Unfortunately, that did not occur. I am praying that God helps him grow in understanding, humility, and excellence in his role, and to remember that serving customers well is part of the responsibility of the position—and ultimately how one earns trust and a paycheck. I value respect, clear communication, and accountability, and I hope this feedback is received in the spirit of improvement and professionalism.
