Albert SI had a 15 foot truck reservation for 1200 Thursday in Murphy NC. When I got there to pick up the truck I was tolfpd that it was rented out to a frequent renter who took the keys out of a key box. I did not cancel my reservation it was canceled for me. I don’t understand how this can happen since I had just reserved it. I feel that the truck should have been kept on the lot and not rented out two hours before I was to pick it up. The rental at Sneeds garage was able to help me and did a great professional job. I was really proud of it because I had help on site waiting for my truck to load.
MICHAEL SFirst of all. My local rental spot was not open on Saturday the only day I needed it and then I had to pick up before 4:00pm EST. on May 30th. I was charged for 2 days even though I returned by 6:15 pm EST. on Saturday the 31st of May. I was told when I placed hold and reservation it was to be like $83.21 but my billing was $144.43. I was also told that I had to have the additional insurance even though my auto insurance would have covered this $22.00 charge under my own auto policy with USAA. My last rental of such equipment from this location was only $69.00 plus dollars plus tax. On top of that the rear right tail light did not work.
