The ride on my 15 foot was not the advertised "gentle van ride." The thing bounced like a theme park ride.

I was told that I could drop off the u haul in a different location than what was originally planned. I specifically called to ask if that was ok and was told it was, I specifically asked if it would be an additional charge and was told it wouldn’t only to wake up to an additional charge. I had to clean out my daughter’s apartment who passed away 17 days ago from taking her own life which left me to have an expense of out of pocket funeral due to insurance not paying for people who take their own lives and then to be charged and lied to when I inquired before hand is just another financial burden upon me

Robert TAs the "final" pickup location was good with good customer service and a nice truck, the entire process of picking up my rental truck was a complete nightmare experience. I was suppose to pick up my truck in Iowa City, IA. I was called two days prior to tell me I had to pick up my truck 50 miles away in Davenport, IA. I arrived on time and was told they did not have a truck for me, meanwhile my loading crew was waiting 50 miles away. The rude counter lady told me there are no guarantees for a truck rental even if I confirmed the rental a month prior. She begrudgingly found a larger truck another 45 minutes away in the small town of Muscatine, IA. So another hour for me to drive to pick it up. The counter service in that U-Haul apologized for all the hassle and so I finally made it back to Iowa City to pack the truck with my crew two hours late! I was not given any discount on my truck rental for any of my hassles in picking up the truck. I will never use U-Haul again!
ROSS RHeads up that we would receive a text to take photos of UHaul license plate, font and sides of vehicle. We understand why and had done a walk around to inspect for pre-existing damage. Didn’t see the text until we were pulling out of parking lot, so we stopped and completed the task.
