I rented the 6x9 utility trailer with a ramp. I needed to haul a lawn tractor across the state which has a 60†mowing deck. I was half way there in the morning when I noticed the rear gate/ramp was not the width of the trailer but actually under 5'. So even tho the inside width of the trailer was 6', I could not put the tractor on the trailer and ended up making two trips which took an additional 8 hrs of my day which is also why I was late dropping the trailer off. I wasn't able to use the uhaul trailer and borrowed the sellers trailer with the tractor on it and had to return it.

I looked up the specs for the trailer before hand to determine if my utv/ side by side would fit. According to the specs on the uhaul app my utv should of fit. I ended up driving 2 hours north to find out my utv did not fit through the opening. Never the less but it was disappointing to realize I had to come back empty handed. I just wish in the specs online would of been more accurate in mentioning the gate is almost 2 feet narrower then the rest of the trailer. I did not ask for a refund, but wish I would of.

Jim Webb at Krueger True Value in Neenah is the best! So happy he had what we needed! WONDERFUL! Now as for theDK Petroleum on Richmond in Appleton take him off your list to Uhaul. Horrible service on the phone, A jerk from the beginning, he had an accent. I asked if he had it he said he had to check with a manager and just hung up. Terrible!

Two things. First, there was a bag attached to the inside wall of the truck bed that said it contained several moving blankets complimentary with the truck. It was empty. I had rented some, but didn't know they were supposed to have been there. Had they been there, I wouldn't have needed to rent quite as many. They were missing, though, so including everything that was supposed to be a part of the rental would be good. Second, there was a sticker next to the fuel tank stating to use gasoline only. It included a graphic that made it clear that E85 fuel was not to be used but there was no similar indication for 10% ethanol which is much more common and which most vehicle engines can accept. I would have liked clarity about whether that fuel could have been used.

My U-Haul experience was sort of a nightmare that day and went to four different locations. One location even had me put it on myself because the guy didn't know how to do it. So my mom and myself tried and realized that the U-Haul was broken not working correctly so thank goodness we didn't drive away with it. My mom and I were filthy and got some sort of black I'm not sure if it was grease or what all over us and our clothing. Many different people at the gas station tried lending us a hand but they could also not fix the problem. I called the U-Haul company several times and one gal was training someone over the phone so I was patient. But I felt like she was very short with me and I don't appreciate the customer service one bit. And they ended up hanging up on me. So I had to call back and I was put on hold for a long amount of time. The gal who I previously talked to said she would talk with the scheduler and they would get back to me within an hour to find me a different trailer at a different location. Needless to say well over an hour went by. We wasted over two hours of our day. Reservations that I made over the phone and promised were not in the system when I arrived at the locations. I waited a little while before writing a review because I was so upset about everything. Luckily it all ended well and I found a trailer that worked and the man help me put it on. The location in Neenah is the only place that actually was a good experience. So I thank the gentleman at the front desk for doing such a great Job and calming me down. It was a little disappointing that my name wasn't in his computer upon arrival so I had to give my information all over again although I already had done this over the phone with the U-Haul company not with true value. Overall it was a hot mess and I was really disappointed in the U-Haul experience. But thankfully the man in Neenah did a good job!

OVER CHARGED. WAS QUOTED $19.99/DAY. I HAD THE VAN FOR A FEW HOURS 11AM-330PM AND WAS CHARGED $79?? I PUT A FULL TANK OF GAS IN. AND DROVE FROM UHAUL LOCATION STRAIGHT SHOT TO WEST BEND, WEST BEND TO MENASHA WI. TOPPED OFF TANK. FROM MENASHA TO UHAUL LOCATION IN NEENAH AND OWE $99?? REAL DISPLEASED!!!! WANT PAYMENT ADJUSTED!!!!

Had to wait at the counter for a long time to get service. Guy doing initial order was not sure of anything. On the day to pick up the Uhaul the owner who helped me never walk out with me to do a prelim walk through of the truck, even though I asked. I took pictures of dent in front to cover my butt. On return day the owner who was at the Uhaul counter did not acknowledge I was standing at the counter as he watched a fertilizer video and then got up and left with out speaking to me. I tossed the key on the counter and started to walk out. A cashier told me she would try to find help in the dept. WOW! Never use this place again!
