Attempted to do self return on the app. As usual, the app wasn't functioning correctly. Was able to scan the location barcode. Instead of the app having me upload any pics or info, it simply said your return is complete, thank you. Dropped the keys in the box and moved on. The next day I received a reminder to return my rental. The rental I had already returned. I looked at my account on the website and it showed that it was still open. So, I wasted more of my time with a call to a representative. She was polite and helpful. She did get the rental returned. I offered to send pics that I took with my phone but she didn't need them. Bottom line is this-if you want to encourage users to use an app to do the check out and in process themselves, then make it function properly. I'm not sure it's worked correctly for me even one time. I have built an app myself, so it's not like I don't know how to use one. As far as the return location, I didn't go inside to interact with any personnel. I have done so before and try my best not to at this location as they are not very friendly and give the vibe that you are interrupting their day, but they are the only game in town so what are you gonna do?
