How U-Haul Reviews WorkI was told the location did not have the size truck I reserved online so they would give me the bigger truck they had available and charge me the amount for my original reservation. After returning the truck the manager at the location said it must have been a central office issue and he said he had no idea about the price change and that it was not his problem, that he had to do what the computer told him. After looking at my bill in my email I noticed that he added on the extra insurance that I had also declined when renting the truck. The total amount was not that much more. I think around $35 more than I originally reserved for but dealing with the situation was frustrating. He could have offered to contact the person who offered me the discount. I was the only person in the store so it was not like he was too busy. I also called the the office that contacted me to change my reservation and was told the district manager had to approve any refunds and that he would call me to do so, but I have not received any return calls.
Shafik JI was about 1.5 hrs late,going to 3 changed locations, the guy at pawn shop was not a people person very rude.1st location,middle of an interstate,2nd location they didnt even do uhaul nothing. After about 1/4 tank of gas from driving here to there and an hour half later for drop off, should have taken 15 mins tops,very disappointed, very sad with experience.
