Rented a van to pick up a ping pong table in Danbury. Check in was quick and easy and the van was clean. I brought it back after hours so had to complete the return online using my phone or pay a $20 service fee. Only took a few minutes, had to enter the mileage and all that as well as take pictures of the inside. Overall a good experience and would use this location again.Amanda G.
wAS NOT TOLD THE ONLY WAY i COULD TURN IN THE TRAILER WAS BY PHONE WHICH i DID NOT HAVE WITH ME & TAKING A PICTURE AT THE LOCATION. nO UHAUL AGENTS WERE ON DUTY OVER THE WEEKEND. tOLD CUSTOMER SERVICE ABOUT MY PROBLEM AFTER BEING ON HOLD FOR 32 MINUTES BUT THEY COULD NOT CLOSE OUT THE RENTAL FOR MEWHEN i HAD TURNED IT IN ON DAY 2. 4 EXTRA DAYS WERE ADDED ON BECAUSE OF THE DELAY IN GETTING THE TRAILER WHICH WERE NOT NEEDED EXTENDING THE RENTAL UNTIL THE NEXT TUESDAY. fINALLY ON DAY 5 THE AGENT WOKE UP 45 MINUTES BEFORE TIME RAN OUT & LOGGED THE TRAILER IN. THEY THEN DECIDED TO CHARGE ME $57 FOR AN EXTRA DAYS RENTAL WHICH I JUST DISCOVERED ON MY CREDIT CARD BILL. aFTER HOLDING FOR 27 MINUTES FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE I AM NOW WAITING TO GET THAT CHARGE REIMBURSED. THE OTHER THING THAT NEEDS ATTENTION IS YOUR LOUSY COMPUTER PROGRAM WHICH DOES NOT SAVE YOUR INFORMATION WHEN YOU TRY TO LOG IN-JUST A WASTE OF TIME.richard H.

No covid protocols. One of mechanics was in office with no mask. Another tech required a slide through credit card and refused to accept any touch less payment that I suggested. This brought be within a foot of the woman who had to slide the card through. The women in the office were bossy and rude and intimidating enough for me not to ever use this facility again.Mary F.
I reserved a 6x12 trailer almost a month in advance in Stamford, CT. When the time came, I had to drive up to New Milford, CT to pick it up, an hour and a half drive way out of my way. I was not a happy camper. The local scheduler tried to make up for the inconvenience by giving me an extra day and 6 blankets. But, then it took over an hour to hook me up; they even had to call some guy not on site to do it. The trailer, itself, was clean on the inside but either old or just dirty with at least a dozen dents and dings on the outside. Regardless, I had a successful move from CT to FL.Donald L.
I walked inside the office and nobody was wearing a mask. We're in a deadly surge of the Coronavirus. I asked the woman to put on a mask and she told me she would when we went back to the office. She took me to a tiny, stuffy, airless office, (probably where she and her coworker were sitting maskless before I arrived) and then put on her mask. It didn't feel safe. Young man, who disconnected trailer from my vehicle, said that U-Haul did not install the rubber sleeve onto my hitch, which is why trailer rattled profusely all the way to my destination. In fact, the movers from B-N-S told me the same thing. I will call the U-Haul installation facility to remedy the missing part.GLORIA MARIA L.

I searched for uhaul locations and everyone was closed (sunday). Found the Candlewood Valley location in new milford, ct that stated a van was available. Upon arrival of the pick up time, the location was closed and the keys were not available unless I went through the online process. I was not upset about that, as I read through the preparation email uhaul. My biggest concern (that pissed me the fuck off) was that it took 1.5 hours to complete the process. I feel I should be reimbursed the $19.95 or something else for the complete headache. I had my 7 year old son with me, and if your a parent... think of hanging out in a parking lot for 1.5 hours....and its lunch time and you dont have food nor water.David L.

It was confusing to me when setting up the reservation on your system. I requested a 4 x 7 foot trailer, I got a conformation from both my preferred location and also a conformation from the Danbury location. This required a call to Danbury to get an explanation. Suggestion - Let the customer know that the trailer is not available at the primary site, provide the customer the option to select another option, example, select a 5 x 7 trailer at the preferred location.Sammy C.
