I picked up the truck and it said 29 miles to empty. I had to go out of my way to put gas into the truck before I could even move. That meant extra mileage, which I have to pay for since Uhaul charges mileage. The back of the truck was filthy, not just dirty but actual debris such as large pieces of wood. The guy who I spoke with upon returning the truck seemed genuinely apologetic and did refund me the cost for mileage I believe… but what about the next person who picks up the truck on empty?
