This was hands down the best rental experience of my life. I’m at an age where I’ve moved more times than I can count—well over 16—so I’ve seen just about everything when it comes to rentals. After a long, exhausting day that happened to coincide with our city’s first major snowstorm, multiple pickup changes, and general moving chaos, we ended up back at this location—which I had preferred all along since it was right down the street. From the moment we arrived, the couple who run this location went above and beyond. They were incredibly accommodating, genuinely kind, and easy to talk to. My partner and I immediately connected with them, and what could have been just another transaction turned into a memorable, human interaction. To top it off, we accidentally left behind three items, including tools. I was sure they were gone for good. Instead, they held onto everything far longer than anyone would reasonably expect—and when we finally came back, not only did they have our items, they remembered us. Moments like this remind you that truly decent people still exist. At a time when it really mattered, this couple renewed my faith in humanity. I jokingly call them the “U-Haul miracle couple,” but the gratitude is very real. I can’t recommend this place highly enough—this is the gold standard for customer service. —Mark

SAFAK AI had to go to this location because U-Haul couldn’t provide the pickup van at my original reserved location—even though I arrived on time to pick it up. The person at my reserved location told me the van was under repair, but I was never informed by U-Haul beforehand. This caused significant stress, especially on moving day, despite having booked well in advance. You guys really need to work on that 😂. When I arrived at the new location, I was first made to wait about 20 minutes. When I politely asked the staff member to at least confirm my reservation, he got an attitude and told me I still had to wait, even though my reservation was for 12 PM and I reached there around 12:10 PM. When he finally checked the system—very rushed—he claimed he couldn’t find any reservation under my name, even after I showed him the confirmation email. I called customer service to explain the situation and asked them to speak with him, but he was busy with his own conversations and didn’t bother to talk to the representative, who waited around 5 minutes. Customer support even tried calling him directly but couldn’t reach him, since the number seemed to be forwarded. This added even more frustration. Eventually, around 12:45 PM, he managed to speak with customer support, and only then did he “find” my reservation—because he needed to refresh his system. I honestly don’t know how to describe the level of stress this caused on a day that’s already overwhelming. The staff at this pickup location definitely needs better training on the system and customer service. Fortunately, the van itself worked well!
