The staff completely forgot to include the utility dolly and furniture pads until I went back in and reminded them. They didn't have the utility dolly I had reserved online, so they subbed in an appliance dolly, which I appreciated.

I was charged double the amount of the estimate online. Why? 613 dollars to go one way 180 miles, that’s ridiculous.

CHRISTOPHER SEverything went well. I did have an issue with the App when I logged in to upload my drivers license, but the Ace employee helped me to finish it on his phone while I was at the store checking out. Then, when I opened the App to do my walk around, the App just kept spinning on my cell phone, and I was unable to use it correctly. I wanted to upload a photo on the drivers side that looked like it may have been rubbed against something by a previous renter.
EDWARD LAce Hardware in O'Fallon, Illinois is great. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Renting a U-Haul truck at this location for a local move is very convenient. The truck itself was clean, though, beginning to show its age, I think 130K+ miles on it. The mini-box truck was perfect for transporting slightly outsize cargo. All in all, a very positive experience.
