The guy working was disinterested and unprofessional from the start, complaining about people coming in “right before close” despite us being there at 11:30 when they closed at 1pm. The truck that was reserved for me was parked in the worst spot it possibly could have been, there was a 2-3 ft deep hole right in front of the truck and the back of the truck was as close to the fence as it could get. Then when I’m finally out I realize they do not have 3 of the dolleys I requested or any of the two dozen furniture blankets. I called him to let him know I was missing that stuff and he says “yeah I know we don’t have any of it” so I asked if I was being charged and he said no he took it off my order yesterday. I told him in the future he should call customers and let them know so that they can make other arrangements if needed because now I had to go to another U-Haul. He told me and I quote “that is not my job it’s yours”. Up until this point I was willing to let the unprofessionalism of this man slide but upon hearing him lack any type of accountability or integrity, I told him I was leaving him a 1 star review and hung up. I never got notified by email or text from U-Haul or this third party storage company that my order had been edited and I would not receive everything I ordered and that is so insanely frustrating.

Apparently, when they change my pick up location, they also change my drop off location without letting me know. also, I had ordered the furniture shield things not a dolly and when I got there, he said oh we don’t have the dolly. It wasn’t supposed to have a dolly. It was supposed to have the protector things and it was only at a quarter of a tank of gas so to start a trip we had you know fill up the truck and then when we returned it. I returned it to the place. I had selected as the drop off and they’re like you’re not supposed to bring here you’re supposed to take it to another town. I don’t even know where Mallberry Kansas isand I returned it over half a tank but since I got charged a late fee because I wasn’t an hour late, but I think it could’ve been dealt with better and call it a wash but whatever. I’m also running a truck Sunday for the last of the stuff so hopefully that one goes better.

KIRSTIE CSo truck was not where I was told on gas. It shifted so hard. And then when I went to put gas in the truck I couldn’t because it just kept spitting it back out at me. The man at the counter was not friendly at all. I asked if he could close out account while I was present, but he said he would get to it. He wasn’t doing anything but watching a movie. This day with this truck and this man has totally got me stressed out. I have used U-Haul for many years and today dealing with this as totally put me in a bad mood
