Drop off location closed prior to posted hours. Had to get help from workers at bar and diner to be able to return the 12 blankets. I had mistakenly thought I purchased these and had to go back to get them and drop off. Returned at 450 pm, drop off location was locked, able to get help from staff inside the diner
BRENDAN RThe rental office is around the corner, behind the bar, which is at this location. Hours of operation are very important; I'm not sure anyone on site can help, after hours, even though the 2 Mile House (a bar which is the primary business at this location) is open typical hours for a pub. Limited equipment availability.
Mark MTruck had no gas, although gas gage showed1/4 tank. Had to gas up ASAP (15 gal). Used truck less than 50mi. Upon returning truck, agent contacted UHaul, they immediately refunded me most of the gas cost. Great service! Will be back.
ROBERT KI picked up after hours, so I do not fault the location as much as U-Haul itself. I was given a passcode to open the padlock on the back of the truck in order to get the ignition key. The code did not work, and I tried and tried, even called support more than once trying to access the key. The support people insisted that I must be doing something wrong, they even sent me the video of how to open the padlock to fix my technique. I returned to the truck again, desperate to get the truck, as I had to use it early the next morning. Finally, the support person I called that time asked for the padlock number, and when I told him, he said "Oh, that padlock has a passcode of (completely different from the one I had been given over and over). The new passcode worked immediately. But by now it was dark and my moving team and I were starving and exhausted. I wasted hours of my precious moving time, and worked my last nerve over this. I was so frustrated I could scream. And now you send me a piddly $50 credit. I am truly disgusted with UHaul's lack of service and responsibility in this occurrence.
