alan kMy experience with Uhaul was horrible. I was supposed to pick up at the Hamden location. There was no cell service there and no one in the location was able to help. After two hours on the phone with customer service I was changed to Oneonta. Much further away than I wanted. Had to wait at that location for an hour before someone showed up to help. The Hamden location needs to close. They are not willing to help or do their jobs and with no service it is impossible to go online to pick up. My over all experience was horrible. The only good in this was hiring the movers at divine logistics llc. They were absolutely amazing and would use them over and over and I highly recommend them. But Uhaul you need to improve your locations!
April DNot sure I was informed I would not be getting money back for returning truck early. After spending more than I should have, (quoted at $3000, spent $3450!, $400 in taxes and fees is crazy) money back after a 1200+ mile move would have been helpful.
