They swindled us for a “cleaning fee” in cash outside when we returned the trailer. The parking lot was a mud pit yet we were paying them to hose off mud from the rural area and their parking lot. The whole experience at this location was very sketchy and I would not recommend renting or returning here. If this was a real cleaning fee, U-Haul should be getting this correct? I went in to talk to the manager and it was weird. The staff was all on board for what they are doing at this location

WILLIAM SUnfortunately, when I arrived no one was around, but they left a number to call. The gentleman explained where to leave the Hauler and he would complete the receipt in the morning. This is a remote area, and I can understand the lack of personnel being available. The U-Haul website was provided the drop off location but reflected a different location and that caused confusion. I had to call the U-Haul main number and explain where I left the Hauler but still received a call a few days later asking if I wanted to extend my rental. I explained I dropped the Hauler off the same day I picked it up and everything was straightened out in the end.
