Allen JI rented a truck to move multiple rooms of furniture I had purchased off FB Marketplace. After finishing the paperwork and giving me the keys he then tells me they didn’t have any moving blankets. None in the truck (no dolly either) and not the dozen I pre-ordered. He said they were stolen and I should call U-haul to see if another location had some. We didn’t have time and had some of our own so we went without any from U-haul. No surprise that I did have damage to my furniture. Luckily not terribly bad, but nonetheless damage because we couldn’t appropriately cover the furniture. I pre-ordered the truck and blankets so I should not have seen this location as an option, or at a minimum they should have called to let me know.
