Everyone I've ever met at a uhaul location has been friendly and knowledgeable. The problem I have with the smaller and locations that are closer together only have certain rentals available. Why wouldn't each have at least one of each type of rental? If I need any rental I have to check 2 locations to see if they have what I'd like to rent. I love dealing with just one. Also the self check in and out suck, at least for me. If all these things need to be done before hand, it should be posted and not have to go to a website or app to find out.
