The guy who handles the uhaul reservations at precision motors was incredibly rude. I will never do business with him or uhaul again for that matter. He represents your company and he was down right rude and degrading. He said let’s hope you don’t get in a fucking accident because you don’t know what the fuck you’re doing instead of helping us attach the car dolly he harassed us.

Two of the four tires were completely bald and I had to spend $155 to replace both of them on the morning of my departure . I would have never made it to Phoenix Arizona had I not change the tires myself. I think that’s unacceptable that should’ve been addressed prior to me leaving.

The personnel were helpful during the rental period. However, closing out the two contracts (truck + auto transport) in order to make a final payment was not done completely. The truck account was closed out, but not the auto transport (which had been delivered earlier than the truck). The exterior location is asphalted and unloading of an auto transport was safer than at my pickup location. I will repeat what I wrote under the pickup location regarding my experience with the auto transport: The trip was safely carried out. The truck performed well. However, the "lips" on the inside of the auto transport ramps (and horizontal platform) are too high for an average sedan. I loaded an empty 2014 Hyundai Elantra 4-door sedan and, at the bend where ramps meet platform, the bottom was ripped/crunched by the inner "lips." Unlike 15 years ago, the auto transports have become heftier, perhaps to accommodate SUVs and pickup trucks. The currently high outer "lips" should guide any tire into alignment, so the inner "lips" do not need to be high and should be lowered. SUGGESTION: Perhaps rubber liners can be provided for sedan loading (or the whole fleet of auto transports need to have their inner ramp & platform "lips" ground down). My insurance claim is pending on this. I was quite dismayed, but under the circumstances/time constraints had to force my car on (the damage already having been done) and back off at the unloading site.

I have rented from U Haul several times and had a good experience every time. I'm also happy with the new Ford trucks. However I would like to see diesel in the future. The man at Precision Motors is who I have been using. He is very friendly.

I had made an online reservation for a truck, and I called to change a detail, and found out when I called them, that a truck would not be available in the reserved location. I had to find a ride to a different location that wasn't easy, the first lady I called at the 800 number was extremely rude, and they made my first experience with uHaul an awful one. If I hadn't called, I feel like I wouldn't have found out until moving day. To make matters worse, the location I originally had booked (where they told me they don't have trucks) was full of trucks when I drove by on my way home from picking up the truck I used, an hour out of my way. Terrible customer service and experience and I will never use this awful company again. (Also supposed to cost $135 and ended up costing me $200+) The average rating is based on the actual pick up and drop off locations, because if it came down to service from uHaul headquarters and my experience, it would absolutely be a one star review.

The owner of the location was great. Even though I didn't end up needing it, he extended the time I had the truck until Monday (originally Saturday) because I had to drive 45 minutes to pick up the truck. If I could rate customer service before I picked the truck up it would be poor. I wasn't told that the truck was not avaialable at my original pick up location until the afternoon before I was schuduled to pick it up about 5 miles from my starting location & that I had to drive 50 miles to pick up the truck because there was "no one available" to drive the truck to my original location or somehow, a week isn't enough time to have a truck available & for my inconvenience, I was given an extra 50 miles...which of course I shouldn't be charged for those miles...then when I called customer service, they not only gave me such short notice that I had to drop everything I was doing to prepare for the move & contact everyone involved to change the schedule, they also tried convincing me that I'm getting an extra 50 miles for my inconvenience (which itself is insulting suggesting I'm getting some sort of favor) & that they litterally could do nothing more than tell me I had to deal with it, which not only makes your customer service virtually pointless other than a notification service to inform your customers that they have to pick up the the slack of Uhaul's disorganization, weak business practices & disregard for their customers time, it seems like the company could save a lot money investing in an automated service & provide some sort of compensation that at least gives your customers the illusion they are getting something of actual value in return for this kind of inconvenience. I wasn't given or even offered any compensation for the 100 miles driving my car to pick the truck up & back & my time, the person's time to go with me & drive my car back & the hour delay to my schedule & everyone helping me move, but you received my full payment, so your welcome. Next time I need a similar service, I will take Uhauls 96% negative review rating on the BBB site & make sure I look into other options. & it might be a good idea to to determine if the drop off location has enough room to accommodate the size of vehicles you rent. The drop off location was attached to a storage unit facility and I had to park the truck at an angle in front of a gate that looked like it was the exit to the facility because the lot was so small, there was no other logical place to park the truck.

I returned the unit after-hours and checked in electronically. So, I had no interaction with these folks and cannot rate them. But, I can't get out of the site without checking all the boxes, so I gave them 4 stars, without really knowing anything about how they would be to work with. I also didn't want to louse up any rating they have given by actual customers by giving them fewer stars.
