I have no issues with the Truck I rented or the Rental Pick Up Location. I do have an issue with UHaul. I wanted to extend my rental but I was told I could not because the truck was scheduled to be rented that afternoon. I drove past the location for the next three days and the Truck I rented and was told to be unavailable because it was scheduled to be rented, was sitting in the parking lot of The Short Stop. Each time I saw the truck parked and unmoved, I was more and more disappointed in UHaul.Douglas M.

I always read the reviews of something that I look to use or purchase. But for me my experience with The short stop Renta was outstanding. The gentleman at the counter and I hit it of from the start, I have nothing but good service with no problems and a smile the same as when I returned the truck I give you 5 stars. The mgr was very rude and didn't want to help us with the pick up. I had to go to my car to get online, which was slow due to poor Wi-Fi reception. There were no keys in the key box! He left to go find keys, then gave us the wrong keys. It took way too much time to finish this transaction and get on the road. Another worker apologized. I wouldn't recommend this place ever.Nathan T.
Worker signed me up for maximum insurance amount without asking me if I even wanted it (in my original, online reservation I chose no insurance). He likely did this to maximize his kickback amount.Patrick M.
The trouble engine light was on. I did the mobile check in at 6:00am. Since I noticed this at the end/odometer part of the process, I could just cancel and start over. I was told that I had to wait for manager to come in, which might be Monday, two days later. I could check out another Uhaul at another location until this one was cancelled. I went back to original location at 9:00am and get it cancelled, then was able go to other location and get a truck, four plus hours after my 6:00am original start time. Several calls were made during this, including customer service, roadside assistance, and traffic. It shouldn't have been that difficult to correct the situation and move on.james W.
