I was in a bit of a hurry when I rented the truck. I took pictures of the outside but neglected to open the truck. When we got to our storage unit there were a bunch of moving blankets thrown up in the top corner. I left them there and ended up getting charge $5.00. This is silly as I didn't ask for the pads nor did I use them.

The vehicle broke down while in use. I had to have tow service take the truck away which took over 2 hours while I waited and wasted my day away. After Uhaul took the vehicle I was called multiple times same-day and the next day to ask me why I did not return the vehicle. It was towed away and out of my possession and U-haul should have had several records clearly stating that this had happened. I had to proactively reach out to customer support to attempt to clear the situation and still was receiving contacts about not returning the vehicle. Really a nightmare 2 days for a 4-hour local rental.
Kenneth CThe only issue encountered was with checking in. For some reason, the u-haul system was down (that's what we were told) and many folks were lined up and waited up to half an hour (like I did) to just check-in and get their vehicle. This was after already providing all info (copy of driver's license, name, credit card, ....) online.
