Corporate needs better followup on $50 guarantee refunds for their customers. It has been over four months and I have still not received my refund.

This Uhaul is part of a convenience store; therefore, one has to stand in line and wait while a number of people pay for their purchases ...

Drove truck 14 miles, gas gauge appeared to be in same position as when truck was rented, Charged $15.00 for gas, a little excessive I think.

I was charged on Sunday July the 23rd the amount I pre approved for guesstimating my mileage etc. at $250.04 for an entire weekly rental. I was told there would be a discount as well of $100.00 for renting for a week. That never happened after I left the vehicle there around 5:45pm on Friday July 28th I was informed that no one was there to look at the vehicle or check the mileage. I thought it was required that I be given a notice to sign off on additional charges. I kept the vehicle 5 days not 7 days I was charged for 6 days and the mileage on that van was horrible I got about 5-7 miles per gallon without any extra weight in the vehicle it's pretty sad. Why was I charged 3 times in the amounts of $250.04 then another $55.76 and then another $250.04 . I have rented Uhaul's over 50 times for different moving jobs etc. Every time i rented one i never had a problem with my credit card not being charged then being charged a few more times. I only gave permission on the $23rd to take money off my account not any other days I kept the vehicle for less time I should of been given a credit back but thanks to the people at the location not verifying my mileage I got burnt on that as well. Teach the employees how to accept credit cards and not keep peoples card information on file and granting them permission to swipe peoples cards without my permission. I never signed off on that mileage nor will I brought the van back on Friday didn't put that much mileage on it either. So get a drop box or something and after I waited there for a few hours for my ride to show up the ladies working there not once looked at the van to make sure it wasn't damaged or the mileage or the gas gauge. I'm not happy about this at all. Omar Jefferson

The poor girl at the counter was doing the Uhaul check in computer, sending buses out at the bus station, pushing beeping gas pump buttons, answering phones and checking people out at the register all by herself. She needed help!!! But she did it all with a smile on her face and a great attitude. It took multiple times of her coming back to the computer to try and check us in and complete our Uhaul order because of being the only one doing multiple things but she did it with no problems. Very good work, I would have been just walking in circles. The Uhaul trailer we got was a little old. It was from the 80's and you could tell. It did the job of hauling our stuff 700 miles with no problems though. I would definitely use Kings Highway Shell and Uhaul again.

My truck return was late on a Saturday night and there were no personnel available. I tried to used the web site, but was unable because I didn't have access to my e-mail. So, I just deposited the key in the lock box.

The cab of the uhaul smelled AWFUL and was unbearable to be in. It reaked of cigarette smoke and overall very bad odor. I had to use febreeze spray which did not help. These vehicles should be nonsmoking and freshened after use.

I rented a truck on Saturday May 27, 2017. U-Haul charged my card $75.00. Actual charges were less than $30.00, as I drove the truck only 7 miles. As of 7/7/17 I have yet to receive a refund. Service could not be any worse. Seems like six weeks should be enough time for them to scrape together a $45 refund. Looks like I'll have to pay that store a little visit.

The two women working the counter were really nice and helpful. This was a gas station. About as clean as you would expect.

We were not told of which location for pickup when callled the day before. We were not aware of this location because it was not listed on my computer. No one was at the site who knew how to complete this transaction. The personnel were not knowledgeable enough to do the computer services necessary to complete the transaction for the rental. It took more than 30 minutes to process once the staff member became available to do it. The system was possibly not working properly, as well. The staff was friendly and tried to be helpful.

Extremely hard to find.

It was an older piece of equipment and some of the anchor points inside were not working, but it did the trick for me. No complaints about pickup and drop of locations
