It took over an hour to log on to the U-Haul website and retrieve the key for the rental truck. I was still charged for the full day. I spent an hour in the phone with customer support before someone was able to resolve the issue and release the truck.

Service was horrible I hope that place shuts down

JAMES MUnclear instruction and the website did not specified that only mobile pick up is available at this site. Took us more than 30days to get the truck rental.
WING MThere was no indication, at least that I could see, that no one would be on premises and that I would have to use the app. When I called in, the U-Haul rep seemed surprised that this was the case. I had to download the app and use at that location. But cell service is very bad there and your app is very arduous to use. (I am a professional software developer, and I am a good judge of that.) My phone eventually ran out of power so I had to return home to get an external power source. On returning, I barely got to the point where I could get the keys before the app just froze, probably due to bad cell service. The vehicle was fine although the side mirrors on both sides had to be adjusted every few miles. On returning, the app difficulties continued, and I was unable to complete that process. Finally, the power ran out, and I just put the keys back in the lock box. Overall, I lost almost 2 hours due to these problems which turned what should have been a simple pickup into an ordeal.
