I arrived at 6. The UHaul rep was supposed to be there until 6:30. The person who worked at the store said he left at 5. I can only assume he knew I was dropping off from the reservation. I picked the place so that I would turn over to a person and *not* have to use your app. That is becaise your app needs a lot of improvement. First off, it relies on me having cellular coverage. This place has very poor coverage. Once I had it downloaded, I then spent the next 30 minutes trying to get it to work. It reset and made me take all the pictures all over again. Every time I thought I was done, I had to go back again. The whole point choosing this site was to turn over to one of your reps. If your staff aren't going to stay, then you need to change the hours on this drop off site. I wouldn't have picked it if I had known they would leave early. I turned down taking it to other sites for drop off because I thought I would meet an actual person. If I was going to be stuck using your app, I could have chosen a place that got me a discount like Christiansburg.

It was a mom and pop convenience store and gas station. No special desk for u-haul transactions.
Matthew FRadford did a great job. The original rental location at 55 Merrimac Rd., Blacksburg, VA 24060 needs to be looked at seriously because they have always created problems for us when renting from them. Equipment isn't ready; keys are not left where they are meant to be; office has no one there during business hours. These are just some of the issues we have had with this previous location before. Someone from Uhaul needs to do an audit of that location and either get them squared away or remove their franchise because it is awful.

SHARON GThe pickup location wasn’t our original place, but we had no problem with the place or the employee. He was nice and help by providing the contact number for UHaul. Our problem was with the whole process of reserving a 10’ truck for one of the Christiansburg, VA locations. We reserved, but the day before our 4 1/2 hour drive to pick up the truck, I was told that they couldn’t guarantee that a truck would be available! I only found this out because I called to ensure that it would be there, due to our traveling a long distance. I had seen other complaints about trucks not being available and I knew that would be unacceptable. The final invoice price was also $100 more than when I originally reserved it! 😡 When need the truck and had another 8 1/2 hours to go, so we did what we had to do. The few employees that we spoke with on the phone were helpful. The problem is with the company.
