Unfortunately, I had a reservation at an entirely different location 30 minutes away and I was redirected to this location due to equipment availability. While I appreciate the fact they had the trailer, it was inconvenient and I would have preferred the location I rented from had it so I could pick it up local.
John CThis location is not very useful for anything other than handling the paperwork. The trailer that I rented looked like it had been pulled out of the woods somewhere. It was covered in green mildew, one of the brake lights had an apparent ground issue as it was very dimly lit when the brakes were applied. I event went as far as to work on the trailer myself by swapping out the taillight bulb with another trailer and they did manage to have a replacement patch cord to replace the one that hooks up between the trailer and your vehicle (This was needed because the cord that was on it was pinched in several locations with exposed broken wires. The only reason I still accepted this trailer was because I needed it to move my daughter out of college. NOTE: This was not the original pick up location I had picked when I reserved this trailer two weeks in advance. Apparently, the original location had already rented out my trailer and several other units before the people that had made reservations online had gotten there and our reservation was transferred over to the next closest location which was about 25 miles out of my way.
Kevin SThe trailer disconnected from my car. Wasn't sure if the guy didn't tighten down the clasp enough but I ended up putting a hose clamp above the ball adjuster on the screw so it wouldn't come loose. I had to help the guy with the safety chains, really glad I did that - they saved me. Had to fix the lights, the connector was corroded. They insisted I give them two other phone numbers from different people.
