I did not want "Safe Tow " coverage, however you automatically add it unless the customer specifically declines coverage. I did not realize that this had occurred when I placed my online reservation. I have full insurance coverage on my vehicle and because I own a boat that I trailer I also keep trailer coverage. It upsets me that U Haul adds items on the website such as "Safe Tow" , dollies, etc. without the customers request for them. Poor business practice but I am sure I am not the only one who feels taken advantage of. If I had just gone to my local U Haul Location ( rather than placing my order online) , Ken, the manager would have asked me if I wanted "Safe Tow" and I would have declined..it would not have been automatically tagged to me as it does online. Thanks U Haul...that is really deceptive and it really pisses me off!

Nothing they can do but there is no good parking and it’s hard to pickup and drop off relative to other U-Haul locations.

Way too expensive in the end. I needed if for a few hours. They say I drove 41 miles, I doubt it. Even if that is true, that's not very far. Plus 8 dollars in taxes for what was originally a 20 dollar rental. Price almost tripled in the end. Can't afford a 57 dollar rental to move some furniture.

Trying to over charge me when I returned the trailer on time.

I Could not use U-Haul online to return my trailer because it would not allow my iPhone to take a picture

Everyone at the store was more than friendly and very helpful.

Some of the employees were bickering at each other and causing a bit of a delay while checking out the trailer but other than that everything went smoothly.

We reserved a dolly, which wasn’t given to me. Also, the drop off took too long, nobody was in the office and I didn’ Know where to leave the truck.

After a long day moving, I arrived back to find out I was being charged for a second day. I thought as advertised by U-Haul that I was renting a vehicle for a day for $19.95. But it turns out that when I estimated my time for use of the truck for 6 to 8 hours, then I was expected to return the truck in six hours. I do a lot of customer service in my own job and I know where pain points are and I make sure that my customers know where the pain points are. At no time was I told that if I kept the truck for more than six hours I would be charged for a second day. And no one practiced proactive customer service to warn me that if I returned the truck after six hours I would be charged for a second day. I certainly understand that U-Haul wants to manage its inventory to get maximum use and return, I would just ask you to train your staff to make sure it is clear when they casually ask how long you plan to keep the truck that it can result in additional charges if they keep the vehicle the whole day as the advertising says.

Vehicle unavailable. No phone call to confirm pick up location. Sent me to 3 locations before I got the confirmed rental!!

Nice fella greeted me and check the vehicle in I didn’t even have to enter the office area extremely efficient drop off . For clarity the online experience was a disaster and after three times of trying to book something including once after I have an hour on hold all three instances were not as discussed or as indicated on screen. The confirmation email Gabe different information than I expected in all three instances. Ludacris awful bad online experience

Fuel fill-up... I was told 15' truck gets ~ 10 miles to the gallon. We drove 15.8 miles and put in $6.00 of gas (gas is ~ $2.75/gal so that is more than 2 gallons). I was STILL charged $7.23 for gas by U-Haul who said they put in 2.5 gallons (on top of my fill-up.) Something is not right...

Walked into a very unprofessional environment. Just as I stepped out of my car a strong odor of pot could be smelled. I was very shocked to see it was a Uhaul employee. She paid me no attention. The young man inside was curtious giving me advice on the gas and charges I should expect. The other gentleman pulled my truck around for me and had it running with the AC on (which on a hot day was great). -Drug test employees

Our experience was bad. We were told all along we could have our trailer for extra days only to find out that when we returned the trailer U-Haul charged us an enormous amount of money for ELEVEN extra days PLUS insurance we didn’t ask for and all kinds of stuff. I wish they did not have my credit card on file. They went crazy with it. Now I have to wait three days for a dispute person to try to resolve this mess. They don’t train their people at their locations.

The locking gate was a challenge since we ended up having to back out to let others out of the gate. The owner was very nice and helpful, I would definitely recommend him to others.
