Wow! Ken and his staff are absolutely incredible at the Commercial Avenue location in Raleigh. The location was recommended by a friend, and he was absolutely correct. They are truly professional here. This is the second time in a month we have rented, and the customer service is outstanding!! And the equipment is very modern and easy to use. Will be going back two more times this month.

Replace the starter and battery. They about to give out.

The cab interior had a lot of sticky bits all over the pockets, cup holders, and similar locations in the cab. The staff's service was quick and efficient.

The Dolly wasn't secured with the zip tie. There wasn't any way in the mobile app to indicate that. So I am sure I am going to be charged for it.

Ken Emerson was great and very helpful. Web process to book was easy but also loaded mobile app iOS and created account. But then it refused to log me in and my credentials were correct. That was only issue

Got a great running truck and had a smooth pickup and return process at 5505 Commercial.

The attendant very friendly and good worker!

The sales reps were extremely helpful and courteous during pick up and drop off. Very pleasant experience.

I've always thought U-Haul shouldn't advertise some of their trucks as $19.95 rental. It's misleading. Once you add in mileage and fees, my 8 hour day with the truck was $230.

The door on the box kept opening up. The seconomy time it opened, lost some family items that can't be replaced. Come to find out that the latch was loose and there was a door roller that was broken. Please inspect the vehicles yourself, so this doesn't happen to you.

I made a reservation for a motorcycle trailer with pickup location: Capital Blvd. Wake Forest, NC, and drop-off location: Bragg Blvd. Fayetteville, NC. I was told motorcycle trailers were in in town only. Instead I agreed to a 5×9. The representative made the reservation. On my way up, I receive a call from the regional office saying the trail was no longer available and that she would make a reservation with the the same trailer type and drop-off location as the first reservation, but a pick-up location at: Commercial Ave. Raleigh NC. This was already incovinient because the the pickup location from the initial reservation was 3.9 miles from the motorcycle dealership I was picking my bike up from; whereas, the new pickup location was 18 miles in Saturday traffic (effectively an additional 30 minutes each direction). I accepted the reservation. When I arrived at the Raleigh location I was told the trailer was not available. I Don't understand how you mess up both reservations! I explained the situation to both clerks. One clerk was a white male (who I believe to be Adam Alhorani based on the name of the individual who entered a comment on the account) and the other clerk was a black female (whose name I can't recall). I was told that they would give me a motorcycle trailer and that I could return it to Fayetteville. The clerk said something to thd effect of "they're not gonna like it, but i'll take the heat...". There was no agreement to return the trailer back to the Raleigh location or any additional fees. He said he would put a note on the account and that I had nothing to worry about. I got the trailer and barley made it back to the motorcycle dealership before it closed. When I went to return the trailer the next day at the Fayetteville location, I was told that I had to return it to the Raleigh location. I once again explained the fiasco. The clerk then tells me that the note on the account said I had aggreed to return the trailer back to the Raleigh location. THIS IS A LIE! The Fayetteville clerk then told me I can pay a wrong destination fee. That was not acceptable so I declined. She told me to call the regional office. I spoke to Mary at office 782. She told me she would take care of it. The issue I have is the general poor business practice and terrible customer complaint resolution demonstrated by agents of the company. Though I was initially pleased that the Raleigh clerk was trying to help me, he lied on the account comments saying I aggreed to return it to the Raleigh location. If you can't help the customer, call your supervisor or tell them you can't fulfill their request; you don't tell them you'll take of it and then leave the out to dry. This lack of integrity indicates that he is a dishonest, untrustworthy, and deceptive individual. Furthermore, there seemed to be no good customer service when resolving the issue. Each person I dealt with had a dismissive attitude and referred me to someone else (except Mary). The clerk at

This truck had over 135,000. mile it was hard to drive. It wanted to drift right and left!

The customer rep was good, friendly, and very accommodating. As for the truck itself it just needs a little more attention to it. The windshield wipers needed to be replaced, the truck pulled a little to the right, and there were some strange noises coming from the breaks, engine, and cargo space.

I had no issues with the truck besides nt having a hand truck on the bed. The office staff was very unprofessional. The young man at the front with the long hair was very bold to respond to my comment about not wanting to use my credit card by saying " if you cant afford something, then dont buy it." I have a 700 credit score, and was in a very stressful situation in my life. If i was not so tired, I would have caused a huge scene.I also do not appreciate the staff telling me that college is a joke. So, moving forward, I will most likely find another rental source. I hope you can reprimand this situation and prevent this retail staff from speaking to paying customers as such. They are making your business look bad, Kenneth.

Everyone was extremely helpful and nice! I'll definitely use this location again.

I rented a van but it was not available when I picked it up. I was given a 10' truck at the same price - thanks. The truck had garbage in the door and cup holders from the previous renter. The back of the truck needed to be swept out to remove qtips, open bandaids, and dirt. The seat belt sticks and was difficult to use. The key was difficult to us to turn on the truck. Pickup was painful based on people waiting for the one person to handle all.

This location is VERY conveniently located near my former residence and in a safe location allowing me to conduct business easily during the day and during the night. I'm grateful. I also appreciate Ken helping me resolve charges and crediting my account. The only thing that I would recommend is that the UHaul staff conduct a quick review of the requirements of the rental prior to the customer leaving (i.e. that the truck should be returned at 1/4 tank.) Otherwise, the experience was excellent. Thank you so much!!! - MKR

Observed multiple problems with other people not being able to pick up the vehicle they had reserved. Employees handled it well but it caused a longer wait for the rest of us.
