There was a problem with the latch on the hitch that connected to the ball. Luckily I was only goofing a short distance but the trailer disconnected a couple oh times while I was driving. I did let the person at store know and they were going to put in a service call. Thankfully I was driving slowly and the trailer did not damage my car.
