CHRISTINE HBoth rental units did not have full fuel tanks. It is extremely frustrating to return the vehicle(s) with the same amount of fuel that was in the tank when I got it. On most vehicles, the fuel gauge levels out after driving it for a few KM, my personal Honda does this, and so did the U-haul rentals. What this means is that the photo I took during the online process before leaving the lot, showed half of a tank of fuel. 2 km later, the needle is now below 1/2 by about a needle width. Similar sort of thing when filling up. The needle doesn't settle until a few minutes after refuelling has stopped. Of course, this results in the vehicle being returned with more fuel than when I got it. Good for the U-haul dealer, not so good for me. Likely is a matter of only $5, but I still feel a little bit cheated. Other than that, the service was great and super helpful. A pleasant experience, other than the feedback above.
