How U-Haul Reviews WorkThe operators of the U-Haul do not come with you to the vehicle to cross check gas and mileage and make sure the renter is comfortable with the chosen Uhaul. This caused an issue when returning the uhaul. My gas and mileage at the beginning of the trip did not match what they had in their system. This caused a debate. Also, I rented the truck at approximately 1:30 pm on 9/9/26. I returned the truck at 1:38 pm on 9/11/26. I was told that because I was 8 minutes late, I would have to pay for an additional day. First of all, on 9/9/26 I arrived to U Haul just prior to 1:30 pm, but by the time the paperwork was complete and we found the truck that the keys went to, it was almost 2:00pm. Same thing on drop off. I arrived at 1:38pm, but was asked to go back to the truck and take pictures of gas and mileage and return, then waited my turn. By the time I was being taken care of it was 1:47 pm. Not a long wait, but still not enough time to charge for an entire extra day. I was told that if I have an issue with the charges, to speak directly with U-Haul. Overall, a good location, but I know what to expect next time.
