They gave us the truck with no gas ⛽️ and we drove the truck for 17 miles and they try to charge us for 200 miles please be carful and take pictures of the mileage before you drive away they are thieves

MICHAEL JThey should have told me several things. I should have been told about the packing blanket fees if not folded. I should have had someone discuss dings and scratches. They should have done a complete walk around with me. The truck had salt in the storage area. I had to clean it before I used it. The trucks headlights were dim almost too dim for driving at night. The right side mirror was not properly able to maintain a position for very long. It needed constant adjustment. There was a contract from a prevous customer in the glove compartment. This confirmed the truck had little inspection. I was not given instructions to put my contract in the vehicle and could have been charged with theft had I been pulled over. The vehicle registration was also in the glove compartment and it too should have been behind the seat according to my destination drop off person. Retraining the dealer would be beneficial. The drop off was the BEST experience I had. Making the reservation in Loves Park, IL was terrible. Although neither of these have anything to do with the puck up location. Retraining is highly recommended from your Uhaul customer Mike Pace.
