John VU-Haul customer service was great! Compass Self storage general manager was unhelpful and dismissive. For reasons out of my control, my return time was delayed. I called Compass to let them know and one of the employees extended my return time to the next day. I returned the truck the next day, but two days later I got charged for the extra day. I spoke to the general manager at Compass. He was dismissive and refused to do anything about the issue. After a few of days working things out with U-Haul, they were able to find a satisfactory solution. Thank you U-Haul. I will rent from a different location next time.
