As soon as we arrived to the location no one greeted us as we walked in I’m assuming because we were African American. Then we say hello and the desk white guy asked for my name. I proceeded to give him my name and he says all my trucks are rented out. I then state please check again because we made reservations with a representative we spoke to and she confirmed trucks was available days before 8/15/26. The guy finally pulls my name up and says the truck is on the outside. He then advises us that the truck is on half tank of gas and we need to bring the rental truck back the same way. After bringing the truck back on half of tank of gas like told. The location still charged us for a fee of gas and would not assist us as I advised them of the incorrect charge and told us call U-Haul.com and hung up in my face. Nevertheless we were overly charged and the kids it purposely. Lastly the truck smelled bad and was filthy in the inside.
