U-Haul Roadside Assistance authorized the truck to be towed to the nearest Uhaul Dealer: Uhaul Neighborhood Dealer at Ruston Pre Owned Cars and Trucks. This location was closed upon our 2:30pm arrival and as a result we were left stranded in dangerous heat, with no proper shelter or immediate accommodations. A low-budget Days Inn under renovation was provided later in the evening by Uhaul Roadside Assistance Manager Rocio Hernandez. U-Haul’s roadside team delayed meal reimbursement for over 6.5 hours since our breakdown and did not send a moving crew until 6:00 PM from Arkansas — resulting in further delays.
