I want to start by saying the gentleman at the Salisbury, MD U-Haul location was absolutely wonderful — very kind, professional, and helpful. I have nothing but good things to say about him. Unfortunately, my overall U-Haul experience was terrible. The truck I rented smelled so bad that I felt sick and had to pay someone out of pocket to clean it before I could even use it. I only took the truck because I was under extreme time pressure — I had movers scheduled for a limited window — but it caused me a lot of anxiety. When I returned the truck to the Owings Mills, MD location, the manager there falsely accused me, in front of his coworker, of calling him a racial slur. This was a complete lie, and I consider it deeply offensive, discriminatory, and damaging to my character. I am now considering legal action over this false accusation. What started as a simple truck rental turned into one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. U-Haul needs to take a serious look at the conduct of some of its employees and the condition of its vehicles. ⸻ If you want, I can also make you a shorter, sharper version that hits harder for a public review platform like Google or Yelp so more people notice it quickly. That one would be more punchy and attention-grabbing.

No one was there, was told by U-Haul cs to just leave trailers there, was not able to tell anyone the light and adaptor issues. Would like a refund on the adapter if it is faulty.
FRANK CI am a repeat customer and having to take a picture of my driver's license every time I rent a car trailer is ridiculous. As well as literally calling the person I gave as a reference every time no matter the time. Can you imagine someone calling you at 8am asking if you know a person over a 67 dollar rental.

BETSY LMaking sure customer is in the system. I had to travel to another location to find out my reservation wasn’t finished. The guy at that location was too focused on closing that he lost a potential customer. The only thing saved my reservation and my trip that night was the customer service rep calling and extending my time.
