Attendant had me connect the trailer myself- haven’t ever had that before. Was efficient, because the last place I went in Radford, VA only had 1 worker and high demand, would have saved time if I connected myself.

There were holes in the wheel wells and the electrical wire was slightly of the hookup. Everything worked fine. Storage Place/Uhaul agent inspected and pictures uploaded

TODD MI want to start by saying the gentleman at the Salisbury, MD U-Haul location was absolutely wonderful — very kind, professional, and helpful. I have nothing but good things to say about him. Unfortunately, my overall U-Haul experience was terrible. The truck I rented smelled so bad that I felt sick and had to pay someone out of pocket to clean it before I could even use it. I only took the truck because I was under extreme time pressure — I had movers scheduled for a limited window — but it caused me a lot of anxiety. When I returned the truck to the Owings Mills, MD location, the manager there falsely accused me, in front of his coworker, of calling him a racial slur. This was a complete lie, and I consider it deeply offensive, discriminatory, and damaging to my character. I am now considering legal action over this false accusation. What started as a simple truck rental turned into one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. U-Haul needs to take a serious look at the conduct of some of its employees and the condition of its vehicles. ⸻ If you want, I can also make you a shorter, sharper version that hits harder for a public review platform like Google or Yelp so more people notice it quickly. That one would be more punchy and attention-grabbing.
