The truck was dirty inside and outside I just couldn't believe someone spits was in the dash, I had to clean it. Customer services? lol what's that? They lost it. I brought the paperwork to the young men so he can go get the truck I'm renting I didn't even receive a hi or good afternoon anything he just grab the paperwork from my hand and disappear. The only good experience I had was the interaction with the general manager he take care my needs above and beyond he called and make me a reservation for a trailer to tow my car with etc I wish his team could deliver the same customer service.

The whole experience was a total nightmare. Our trailer was given away 2 times, had to drive to multiple locations, never got same story from customer service, list goes on. WILL NEVER USE UHAUL AGAIN! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!

Uhaul sent us to the San Francisco downtown location (1525 Bryant). We arrived before 8pm and they REFUSED to accept the auto hauler saying they had no room in their inside storage. They sebt us across town to the after hours drop off location. We found our way to South San Francisco and the Bay Shore location. We difficulty we tried to park the trailer backed up to the fence to protect the equipment as best we could, dropped off the key, called the UHaul Central to inform them of the drop off and left. The next day i was able to call and confirm the equipment was safely received. In sum: great Customer Service and very poor service.

Complete shitshow mobile website doesn't work well. Pulled in to rental return area with trailer was told it's for trucks only and to back up with a trailer blocking the entrance. Was told where to put it and then lift operator starts yelling at me very rudely at the top of his lungs. When I asked where to put it he says I don't care just get out of my way. Finally they said to put it somewhere else. I pull around and the lift operater is talking smack loudly with other employees and trying to fight me. Every employee there was heckling me and wouldn't give me his name or anybody's name. Worst customer service ever I will never use uhaul again after being treated so rudely by all employees.

The 20" truck was ready at 8AM as specified in our confirmation. Customer service was quick and we were out in 10 minutes.

I signed up for "Express Online Check-in" but had no idea that I needed an APP to be able to complete the express online-check in.

I used after hours drop off. There is not a sufficient area to drop off your truck. I had a 15 foot truck but someone left a 20 foot truck and it took up a lot of the area. Thus I had no choice but to leave the truck in a place where it could have been in the way. But I tried my best not to but didn't have much of a choice.

Much easier and less hassle than I expected; would rent again. Ability to leave the car overnight in your lot was a definite plus. Thx.

Rude personnel. Not having trucks that were reserved. Slow process (almost 45 minutes to pull a van around 20 ft to pick up). Never renting again from here.

Did not have the size truck requested and provided a smaller truck size they didn't have larger ones and then tried to charge for the larger truck. When I got the truck there was cardboard, blankets, and cloths from a homeless person living in the back. When driving you had to really drive it just to go straight. Will never go back to this location. Complete cluster

Selected self check-in as it was supposed to save half the wait time at the counter, but it did not as there was system confusion on the clerk's part in the paper work, resulted in delays at the counter as well as at the pick up area (wrong truck assigned). Better employee training needed.

All cargo trailer was in Aline and only 2 of them was available and both had small problem in their light and they didn't check trailers after drop off

Tire had a nail in it. I did not notice it until I loaded the trailer and the tire was going flat. I let the U-Haul at Treasure Island know. He added air in the tire to get me back to San Francisco. There they replaced the wheel in a matter of minutes and rechecked the torque and air pressure on all 4 tires. This is not meant to be a ding. But a praise to the both U-Haul location.

Paying for mileage AND gas seems like double-dipping. I'm basically paying twice for the travel. In the future, for this type of trip, I will not use UHaul because other companies do not charge for mileage.

Request pickup in Belmont, CA and the only availability, notified just 1.5 days prior, is in San Francisco, CA an hour round trip out of my way. VERY INCONVENIENT!

I've never pulled a trailer before and was a little nervous about it. But the whole experience went beautifully. The people who helped me get the trailer attached were great and the online videos were extremely useful. The whole move came off without a hitch. I'm very happy and highly recommend uHaul.
