It was easy to get to. The guy who checked me out did an excellent helpful job. The parking was extremely challenging & no one was particularly helpful with that only part.

Hi - It took 45min. to get my truck and there was no one else waiting. My order was replaced 3 times while I stood there because: Truck #1: was blocked; Truck #2: the keys couldn't be found. Once on the highway, I discovered the rear view mirror on the driver's side was loose and the slightest bump in the road made it move so I couldn't see properly. I could see someone else (a previous driver) used electrical tape to try to keep it in place. When I went to roll down the window to adjust it (while driving!), I noticed the window knob on the handle was broken off. I had to spin the arm (with no knob to grip) with my hand slowly... while driving! Not safe. This went on the anytime I drove the truck. I was very disappointed in my experience with Uhaul and will definitely look at other companies the next time I need to rent a vehicle.

First, the original U-Haul that was on my reservation did not have my vehicle and said someone should have called you to tell you. I then needed to take an Uber five miles south. I waited approximately 45 minutes for my U-Haul. One of the workers at the business stated "Sorry for the long wait. only have to fill the gas 7/8 full instead of filling it up all the way for having to wait. He then proceeded to take a pen out and put a line on my contract showing where the gas needs to be filled. However, when I looked online, there was no mention of this conversation and the contract remained the same. So to be safe, I filled the gas tank all the way full. This business is very busy and there does not appear to be anybody who is in charge making sure things are running smoothly (hence the 45 minute wait)

We rented the vehicle for 2 days, picked up on Friday at 7:45 p.m., and returned (dropped off) to this location by 5:30 on Sunday. They show the rental returned the following morning and charged me an additional day. I contacted the cust service number and they said somebody would contact me but I have yet to hear from anybody.

I had to do all the hook up myself. From beggining to end. Thank god i used to work at uhaul before so i know how to do it right. I asked for help and all i got was a very rude "you are gona ha e to wait!!" Horrible experience. I wish i could get part of my money back for doing there job.

I am appalled by the service and hidden fees I was charged. I first reserved a van at the Bryant St location. When I got there, I was told there was no after hours drop off and they were closing in one hour. Update your website to reflect this! I was then sent to the Bay Shore location and when I got there, they had no record that I was transferred over. Luckily, a van was available (which only had 1/4 tank of gas). I dropped off my truck on time as scheduled 4 hours later. Now, I'm being charged for 2 days of rental and insurance?!

I was charge an insurance fee and I would not accepted insurance if the front desk person disclose any info regarding insurance. I was charge an insurance fee that I decline online.

a lot of employees standing behind the customer service desk, but not in much of a hurry to be of service to customers

The guy was very rude and hard to understand. The place was really dirty too.

My experience was good from initial phone call to pick and return. Thank you.

Driverside door handle knob fell off. Passenger side front bumper punctured.

I would have Julio or another hitch mechanic present at all times as I had to come back a day later to get my wiring looked at. Thank you! Julio is amazing!!!

The drop off process is confusing for me. Some clear instructions at time of pickup would smooth the process. The first time I rented, I went to the "return" area, which was the wrong area and apparently if I proceeded would have damaged the trailer. I guess that area is for trucks only. This last time I went to the trailer area and tried to back the trailer into an open spot. An associate came out shaking his head and stopped me. I'm still not sure what the drop off process is.

My reservation was cancelled as I was pulling up to the location so I ended up getting my move started WAY later than I had planned. As a result I couldn't drop off the truck back at Uhaul before closing (as it wasn't in a safe area to be alone waiting for a ride at night) and I had to 1. put way more miles on the truck = more $$) and 2. drive in pitch black dark, and I ended up getting into an accident :(

It took 3 different 10 foot trucks until we got one that did not have an engine light on or a truck they could not find. It took one entire hour to finally get a truck. When I returned it I had stopped to fill up the tank with gas filling back to the fuel line that was corrected by your worker because the fuel was marked incorrectly on the paperwork. I was then charged later after checking it in, for $18.50 for fuel. An absolute rip-off! I had filled the truck back to the fuel line. I will never rent from U-Haul again.

front desk staff do not look like they enjoy their job. the guy who helped us hitch the cargo trailer can also take some lessons in communication skills... we can barely hear him and he seems like he was mad. it was our first time hitching a trailer but we didn't get much help. we learned later that he didn't hitch it right... it was really noisy. we resolved the issue after we figured out that we need to tighten the hitch.

My U-haul was rescheduled for pick-up in Oakland. Then 10 minutes after the schedule pick up time, we were notified that Oakland did not have a vehicle for us. Don't take reservations if you do not have the vehicles available!!!

The location was the only downside.

I did not see anything to be improved. All of the staff provided excellent customer service. They are very professional and have great communication skills. Thank you very much for all your hard work.

The location and truck was fine. But the reservation process was a nightmare! I ended being wrongfully sent to 3 Uhaul locations just to get a truck for my move, and the truck was smaller than what I reserved. It wasted 3 hours and completely derailed our scheduled move.
