Bad customer service and trucks are really dirty

Johno W. on

Dirty on outside and inside. Wheels & Tryes were old rusty and too much tyre pressure for the trailer as is was very bouncey!

Guys who waited on my were friendly and efficient. Returning was a breeze with check out right as I drove in. All in all, a very successful move.

Yard guys and cashier are very efficient for my car trailer rental.

I was charged for extra mileage; extra miles were because Uhaul changed the location I requested for pickup (to one 15 miles away) and did not use closest location for return (+10 miles). I should not be charged When extra miles are due to Uhaul.

works very well for us, time good, price good. web use excellent. I'll be back Leonard Graves

A bit long in waiting for van. Nice friendly service all around.

This group has customer service down pat. Yard to inside was first class and helpful. This is consistent with prior experiences I have had at this location.

I would only recommend the location to a friend only because the one on Bryant st is infinitely worse. We also had to drive back and forth between Bryant and Bayshore, because the boxes were supposed to be shipped to Bryant, then we were told they were at Bayshore, then Bayshore told us they were at Bryant, then Bayshore found them. . . We lost a half day of moving time.

Great customer service all around from the manager to the personnel in the lot. Each and every one made sure that I had been taken care of and had everything I needed for the move. I should point out that this was NOT the location that I had initially reserved the equipment from and was not nearly as convenient a location. But the people made up for some of that.

staff was friendly, helpful, and professional, I got lost and was a few minutes late. When I called to let them know, they were helpful and held my reservation

My truck was switched last minute in SF. They drew up a new contract and said I would have a $14 credit. I was also told truck needed to be returned with a quarter tank of gas. When I dropped the truck off in Valley Springs I was charged an extra $70 for gas since it was a quarter and not 3/4. I also never received my credit I was promised. Horrible customer service and horrible company. Will switch over to Enterprise for all future rentals

Keep it up! Thanks

Extremely slow the customers making people wait egregious attitude towards customers authoritative Lee speaking down to them commanding them where to go and what to do people spend thousands of dollars with you and you complain to them to sweep out the back of a truck because they don't want to do their work each truck at a rental location should be taken and cleaned out before it's given to the next person fuel should also be filled up how am I supposed to judge exactly how much fuel to put into the van when you don't give it to me. The further issue of that is you want to charge $38 to try to get extra charges for fuel when you're not giving the truck fueled up in the first place and when the person goes and puts $40 worth of fuel into the truck you turn around and say the truck was taken out on half a tank and was returned with only 3/8 so that you can charge more money The truck was requested for a business rental was told that it was going to be operated the brakes were hanging oil is burning the turning radius was ridiculous because of the belt was worn and incorrectly attached exhaust was leaking into the cab

To be honest, I've been frustrated both times that I've used uhaul this month. I've found out in my own that they are giving me the wrong pick up location and then I have to travel farther to the new one. On the day of a big move, I don't need the additional stress of switching locations last minutes. I've been told they would do something and write my feedback in my file, however I've received nothing. That said, The folks at the location itself were nice. This is a corporate and website issue that needs to be addressed. I will most likely look for local truck rentals for my next move.

The young woman who waited on me was clearly not interested in her job. She spoke in low tones and with impatience. I found her to be a terrible face of your firm. I rent trucks from you often. She was rude and not helpful at all. On the other hand the young man who waited on me to check out the truck and was on hand when I returned it was friendly, informative and had a great attitude about his job and UHaul in general. You should be pleased to have him work for you and I think someday he will make a great manager. I have 45 employees myself and understand how rare and valuable this kind of employee is to your firm. Customer services stinks. The so call Manager GLEN, supposely to have the best services out of all the people that works over there. HIS NOT A WELCOMING PERSON. NOT EVEN A GREETING, HELLO!!! GOOD MORNING, GOOD AFTERNOON!!! The look on that person's face really withdrawls PEOPLE off balance. His not a comfortable person to ask to solve an issue. He had an EGO. HIS NOT APPROACHABLE!!! The other Hispanic female that I dealt with before were so nice and WELCOMING. THAT'S WHAT WE NEED FROM A LEADER. A GOOD LEADER IS A LEADER THAT BRINGS DRAWS EVERYBODY'S ATTENTION WHEN IT COMES TO BUSINESS. I'm not Hispanic. But those Hispanic ladies were GREAT. Great attitude, always greet you with a smile, very satisfying and you feel at home. You will leave VERY VERY HAPPY.
