Revamp your policy about what a drop off location is able to do for a unsatisfied customer other than to call the headquarters. REALLY!? Talk about not taking accountability! U-Haul should allow the receiving facility to work out a deal!

My trip to Uhaul off of Bayshore in San Francisco was was very unsatisfactory. First, It took 30+ minutes to wait in line and check out. I had to swipe my card multiple times since there were problems with the order. I was hoping and expecting that it would only take ~5 min since I had checked in online. After getting the key to the truck, it took another 20-30 min to get the truck. What was more frustrating is that folks were getting their trucks out of the order that they got their keys. Other customers mentioned this to Glenn D., the manager on hand, and he didn't acknowledge or apologize for the hold up and disorganization. I would highly recommend revisiting the process and customer checked out experience -- I believe there is a lot of potential to improve. I will do my best to avoid this location in the future.

Had a bad experience with front desk, she was rude, unprofessional, and told me I needed to call customer service. Her name is La'Jae Loville. I even told her to smile and she responded by saying "I am at work". I called customer service, I was hung up on, called again and a young lady was kind and attentive. I informed her I was a victim of identity theft in 2010, which she saw in the notes. Told me to call corporate on Monday but I can rent the truck I reserved. I was most grateful. I.am professional ADM and train corporate with customer service issues.

difficult location. As a company, you should quick 'nickel and dimeing' people. you advertise your trucks as $1299, and by the time im done ive paid almost 2K. I will not be using Uhaul ever again.

The truck smelt of smoke from the minute I got into it, i asked one of the employees if i could change it and she said no! And i got charged $200 more than what I was quoted , and I wad told that I paid for my second week when I booked it but when I dropped off I wad handed a bill for $586 When expecting$100 at the most

The General manager was not nice to me when I told him that I came in the correct entrance. Two other people came in the wrong entrance and got served before me. Not cool Place has the most rude staff ever !!!

The workers at the drop off area on a Monday afternoon were very lazy. I pulled up and nobody addressed me even though there were 3 workers. I asked 1 of them to help me with the return and he told me to ask the other 2.

I emailed the uhaul location cause I got charge for a refill fee of $35 even though I got the truck empty and I returned it with an 1/8 of gas. The truck itself had a hard time starting and too much mileage 272K and the shocks are not very good had a lot of bumps on all sides of the truck and I think something is happening with the gas situation on this liocation they are not reporting it properly.

Bad customer service. Truck was glitchy and felt like it was going to breakdown. Uhaul generally: Gas charge and "cleaning charge" are unfair.

Mobile check in was awful, didn't work properly, had to check in inside manually anyway, keys could not be located so checked into a different vehicle, 45 minute total process thanks to 'tech'. Then I was sent two contracts, one for each van even though of course I only rented one, now I have to resolve that issue! People at the location are nice, technology and process absolutely ridiculous.

There was no front license plate on the truck we rented and we were stopped by the police during our move. It slowed down our move by 35 minutes. Other than that, all was well.

The location at Fairfax should learn how to talk to a customer. Rather then tell a customer that they don't take your van and when I asked what I should do they tell me that "it isn't their problem."

When arriving at the above location 10 minutes before our scheduled pick-up time, there was a line of people waiting for a customer service rep. The large video that was playing on a continuous loop showed how to choose a truck via the app. After going out to the lot, choosing a truck, we tried to use the app to check it out. We tried 10 times. It would not validate. The app did not work. We then went inside to stand in line for at least 20 minutes. You were very understaffed. When we got to a service rep, I told her that we'd tried to use the app 10 times without success. She said, the system was down state wide. What?? How inconsiderate Uhaul is to your customers! Rude, in fact. Why wasn't there a sign or a notice clearly posted telling people that the app was down and that they needed to stand in line and wait for a service rep? Why keep the incessant video playing over and over telling people to use the app?? Considering that most people are trying to get as much done in the time they have rented the truck,, the wait was prohibitive. That experience set us back nearly an hour. And, it was extremely annoying to wait in line forever. And, the truck literally stopped on Hwy 101 when we were on our way to return the truck. Luckily we were able to pull to the side of the freeway without accident or injury. It was very scary and extremely stressful. After waiting some minutes, we were able to start the truck and it made it back to the return location. Awful experience. Shame on you, Uhaul. We will never use Uhaul again nor recommend to anybody.

Don't take so long time and training the customer service and guys giving to you the unit be focus to avoid mistakes and do not waste your time in a small process. I did reservation in the morning time but at the time to pick up the cargo van I did request they change twice and take me this one hour or more

I dropped off my trailer after having it for one day, and called the next day and made sure everything was in order and they said yes. Then two weeks later they called and said they never received the trailer. They kept calling and asking about it even though I told them I dropped it off and talked to them about it weeks ago. Finally they said they would go check the lot for it and never called me back. Just today, 5 months later, I finally got confirmation from them via email that they have it.

Checking out with the cashier was fine. Although, there was only one cashier working and the queue for the line was pretty long. I was in line for about 15 minutes. Getting the U-Haul from one of the employees outside was severely lacking. He was joking around and talking with other employees and negligent of the customers waiting to get a U-Haul from him. He barely communicated with me after I handed him the paper with my information on it, just said monosyllabic words. I will never go to this location again, and it made me consider using another truck rental service aside from U-Haul.

I reserved a truck at one location. Went there and they had my reservation number but no available truck. I was given a number to call for a different location and was told that I would receive a $50 refund because they didn't have my truck available. Went to the second location, was charged $180.27 but my final charge was only $133.46. Difference of $46.91 is still owed me. VERY disappointed. Also was not informed that a 10 ft. truck doesn't have a ramp.
