Everything went fine except that they forgot to put the dolly in our truck at candlestick location. Gladly we had our fee refunded (as credit towards mileage overage) when dropped off at Santa Clara uhaul.

Was nice to do it all on my phone and just pick up the key. Thanks.

One recommendation is to hire more people at this location and make it a training zone for other workers. Everyone clearly communicated the necessary important information throughout the process and helped make my move a pain free experience. One suggestion would be to hire multiple people to inventory and cycle through reservations and returns faster. Best Regards, J

The worst experience talking to a manager of any kind at any business. The worst business encounter I’ve ever had. Employee lied to me about the equipment I was renting & upon return of said equipment due to it be not as described, received horrible customer service. Wanted to arrange further business and rental with location but horrible experience overall. Will never go back to this location and would never recommend another person to.

the counter help is rather bureaucratic and very slow and bossy

There was no way in hell I could get to my one way destination with the given miles. I was 60 miles over the allotted 65 miles.

Worst place ever. The manager was ride and yelling. He screamed at me because I parked the huge truck next to the wrong uhaul. I was about to call the cops on this place and the crazy person you have working as a manager. I would advice you to consider hiring a different manager at this location. WORST ever. Could of nicely asked saying sir please park over there not screaming and yelling at a customer. Then threating saying he won't accept anything until I repark. Really uhaul??? You hire people like that to be your location managers?

Give a raise to the gentleman that checked me out. He was polite and expeditious - a great end to a great experience!

I was over charged for my rental. I rented my uhaul truck for the duration of my moving needs. I had scheduled a 4 to 5 day period for the move. The customer agent had in his mind one day when I originally rented the truck at 4pm went and returned at 7pm in the evening to have someone drive truck back. There was no way for a 1 day rental. Uhaul called me and said to keep truck but it will be double the charge. I will in the future need a truck to move things out of storage but will not use uhaul services again. I will seek truck rental else where. Demitri Mims

Overall stressful/poor experience. App didn't work because I had an out of state license and my numbers couldn't be verified for some reason so I had to sign in at front desk. Front desk workers were inattentive and unhelpful - and the process of finding the truck and inspecting was really confusing and unintuitive. How about better signage? I wasn't told how to return the truck after hours until I asked at the last moment.

My service was above excellent. I really appreciated the personal phone call I received when I was running late. Very accommodating

Everyone one at the facility was great to work with. My frustration comes with reserving. I initially requested a location in Hayward which I placed & received confirmation two weeks a head of time. Only on the day before was I told to drive 30 miles away to pick up in SF. Are you kidding me!!! What's the point in reserving if I'm notified the day before of a change. Not happy with UHual.com!

Excellent poeple that served me.

Very friendly. Even stayed open an additional 5 minutes so I could drop it off rather than wait for the next day.

They charged me for gas saying it was at a fourth even tho I filled it to 3/4 right before I dropped it off. Have no gotten back to me after I emailed them.

Ensure polite employees over heard a very rude lady (employee)while being helped by someone else. Moving is stressful the last thing anyone should have to deal with is rude snooty employees. I also was not suppose to pick up at this location when I went to pick up my uhaul in Sunnyvale ca it was not there so I had to drive to San Francisco which made for a late start to a weeks drive to the east coast should have recived some type of discount since I was told I would have a trailer. Dont think I will ever trust uhaul for a big move again. Definitely will warn others as to not wanting them to experience any issue like this.

I am a returning customer having used your rental services several times over the past few years. However, today I was required to provide TWO reference phone numbers - to be verified in real time - before I could complete the truck rental transactions. As a RETURNING customer, I feel this added requirement should not be necessary, i.e., U-Haul already has a complete file on my identification, etc. - so why this added measure .? The staff was kind and helpful but the Uhaul system of different sites operating separately was not helpful. We had the hitch installed at a different site and they installed one that was not appropriate. We had to purchase a new hitch and pay for another installation. I will be sending a letter to headquarters.

Though there were definitely a couple of people who were making the effort, most people I saw were huddled off together talking about food & doing nothing to help assist the couple of people actually working. Upon return, things were better & faster until I got a call about an hour+ after I returned the trailer asking me when I was going to return the equipment & I was going to be charged an extra day. It worked out, but just a very disjointed location. But has a lot of equipment needed.
