This is the worst customer service I have EVER received. There were so many problems with my rental I don't know where to begin. I chose to pick up my truck via UHaul 24/7 meaning I didn't have to interact with a representatives on-site. Biggest mistake of my life. After downloading the app I arrived at the parking garage 10 minutes prior to pick-up time to ensure the verification process wouldn't drag into my pickup time. The mobile application itself had a glitch and was unable to verify my driver's license. I called a Uhaul representative and was told the truck was unavailable (as I'm standing in front of the truck I am picking up). The representative tells me I can't use that truck and to pick up from a location 30 MINUTES AWAY. I told the rep I had confirmed with a UHaul representative the day prior to make sure the truck was available and the rep on the phone was the rudest, most insincere human being I've ever encountered. I told her to please not cancel the original reservation (because I'm literally standing right in front of the truck I'm picking up and just needed the code to the lockbox to pick up the keys) and not switch my reservation to the other location 30 minutes away. Meanwhile, I'm getting a call on the other line so I picked up. It was another UHaul representative wanting to confirm my original location. I finished verifying my information, unlocked the box, and got my keys. I finished moving (about 3 hours) and went to return the truck at the original location. Long story short - yet another problem arises. The second location (the one I told the representative not to switch my reservation to) calls me to say I need to return the truck there. What a joke. I said I never picked up the truck from the second location and I'd like to return the truck at the original location I picked it up at. AGAIN, met with the rudest customer service telling me I was 'mistaken' and that I had, in fact, picked it up at the second location. FALSE. After getting the manager involved - I received a halfhearted apology and $50 off my total. TWO DAYS LATER - I just received an email saying I was charged $365 for a 3 hour rental. I calculated it and I went a total of FIVE MILES for my move. Let me reiterate this is the worst, worst, worst experience of my life and I will NEVER EVER use Uhaul again. I'd rather spend my money on a barge to move my items.

had to rent 2 different trailers. The first one, i was told by the desk that it had a 6 foot wide entrance and it didnt; had a 4.5 foot entrace and a 6 foot bed. This means the 6 foot wide thing i had wouldnt fit so i had to bring it back and rent something else. time and cost but in the end this is trump 2016 world so fuck everyone and lie and get what you want. well this uhaul got to charge me for 2 different trailers....guess they win, Maybe i need to stop thinking like it matters and be a bit more corporate in my lifestyle and screw everyone so i come out on top. USA USA USA....Make my shit great again and screw everyone else

Everything went fine except that they forgot to put the dolly in our truck at candlestick location. Gladly we had our fee refunded (as credit towards mileage overage) when dropped off at Santa Clara uhaul.

One recommendation is to hire more people at this location and make it a training zone for other workers. Everyone clearly communicated the necessary important information throughout the process and helped make my move a pain free experience. One suggestion would be to hire multiple people to inventory and cycle through reservations and returns faster. Best Regards, J

The worst experience talking to a manager of any kind at any business. The worst business encounter I’ve ever had. Employee lied to me about the equipment I was renting & upon return of said equipment due to it be not as described, received horrible customer service. Wanted to arrange further business and rental with location but horrible experience overall. Will never go back to this location and would never recommend another person to.

Worst place ever. The manager was ride and yelling. He screamed at me because I parked the huge truck next to the wrong uhaul. I was about to call the cops on this place and the crazy person you have working as a manager. I would advice you to consider hiring a different manager at this location. WORST ever. Could of nicely asked saying sir please park over there not screaming and yelling at a customer. Then threating saying he won't accept anything until I repark. Really uhaul??? You hire people like that to be your location managers?

I was over charged for my rental. I rented my uhaul truck for the duration of my moving needs. I had scheduled a 4 to 5 day period for the move. The customer agent had in his mind one day when I originally rented the truck at 4pm went and returned at 7pm in the evening to have someone drive truck back. There was no way for a 1 day rental. Uhaul called me and said to keep truck but it will be double the charge. I will in the future need a truck to move things out of storage but will not use uhaul services again. Overall stressful/poor experience. App didn't work because I had an out of state license and my numbers couldn't be verified for some reason so I had to sign in at front desk. Front desk workers were inattentive and unhelpful - and the process of finding the truck and inspecting was really confusing and unintuitive. How about better signage? I wasn't told how to return the truck after hours until I asked at the last moment.

Everyone one at the facility was great to work with. My frustration comes with reserving. I initially requested a location in Hayward which I placed & received confirmation two weeks a head of time. Only on the day before was I told to drive 30 miles away to pick up in SF. Are you kidding me!!! What's the point in reserving if I'm notified the day before of a change. Not happy with UHual.com!

Ensure polite employees over heard a very rude lady (employee)while being helped by someone else. Moving is stressful the last thing anyone should have to deal with is rude snooty employees. I also was not suppose to pick up at this location when I went to pick up my uhaul in Sunnyvale ca it was not there so I had to drive to San Francisco which made for a late start to a weeks drive to the east coast should have recived some type of discount since I was told I would have a trailer. Dont think I will ever trust uhaul for a big move again. Definitely will warn others as to not wanting them to experience any issue like this.
