Fire Roderick . He's a racist piece of garbage who made me never want to patronize u haul company again. The level of customer service at this location is as low as possible and laughable how crappy they treat the customer. I'll be seeing you Roderick, and remember that karmas beotch. From rachet Lachet at the desk to big bad GM Roderick this company has no idea how to treat the guest right . Read some more reviews about this location on google or Yelp and you'll see it's not a fluke . The gm sets the tone for the employees to be flabby asses who stink like you forgot to wipe. Just firebomb this location already and let's move on to the next company . But hey the truck ran great.

The sweetest guy checked me in, so quickly, and I didn't have to go wait in line this time (where it wasn't so friendly last time...). He even kept an eye on my bike as I used the restroom. Am amazed at how efficient and kind the U-Haul folks have been (except for the lady who manages this location -- the sorta on-edge one). Thanks to the sweeties!

The field crew dressed like thugs, had bad attitude, and took their time trying to get other staff members to hook up the motorcycle trailer I had reserved.

Messed up my order and didn't have a tow dolly for me. took over 1.5 hours to get out of there. Nobody wanted to help me hook up my car once they found a dolly. The dropoff place closed an hour early so nobody could drop off. The list goes on.

I returned the truck a half hour after they closed. There was around 20 low life guys hanging around drinking and gambling around the gate where we left the truck. It looked very dangerous.

Uhaul made a mistake on my mileage and gas when i returned the truck with cost me over $1000 (original bill was only $94). After filing 2 complaints, and calling almost everyday. I STILL do not have a solid answer as to why my account was mischarged. The customer service reps have all been amazing, but the management at the Bayshore Uhaul is atrocious, unprofessional and the worst Uhaul experience I have ever had (I have moved with Uhaul 5 times, this is by far the worst). Management really needs to get their act together. Come on guys. Your job isn't that hard.

I rented a van for just over a month. My problem was when I returned the van I was charged about $1300 for miles when I was told I would get 100 miles per day with the rental. I used about 2850 miles of the 3000 miles allocated. I tried to get the matter resolved before I left the USA but didn't get a call back from the manager of the 1575 Bay Shore Bl San Francisco.

Only complaints I have are be nice to ur customers we are paying for ur services!! Another thing look professional there was a guy wearing jeans pants hanging down he was lifting his shirt to show his torso not cute. Appearance is everything he didn't look like he did basic hygiene. This review is not even asking how ur employees did all your worried about is that if it's clean WELL ur employees ARE not clean and they are rude!!!

Re: Master Order Number 93109717 Mr. Jones, I have been a customer of U-Haul for over 30+ years. The different assignments and family moves throughout the United States, always made the 26' moving truck ideal for our family needs. Never in the past would my family and I return the 26’ truck without a final GI of the vehicle Marine Corps style. On Sept 10, 2017 after a two-day use of the 26’ we returned the vehicle to the Bayshore/Candlestick Park center in San Francisco after business hours. We adhered to the instruction for drop off after business hours, and gave the 26’ it’s final and thoroughly cleaning; leaving nothing in the back of the vehicle; Spotless! The need to move and relocate using the 26' is very routine for me and my boys. The return or condition of the 26' has never been in questioned, until Sept 11, 2017. My wife received a voicemail from a U-Haul representative stating: “Our 26’ was returned unclean, with garbage and other debris throughout the back of the truck”. Without any concern, I knew it was an honest mistake within the U-Haul return process. I need to add there were many returns coming in and doing the after-hour return procedure that evening. We respectfully asked for anything such as a slap shot, video to help me show U-Haul they made an honest mistake. I was told no they could not. The rep stated my credit card would be charged $150.00 for the cleaning of the truck. I know for fact this is clearly an honest mistake on U-Haul, I am confident of the customer centered mission of U-Haul. However, the news was defeating, and somewhat callus. My respectful attitude, and disposition in this shocking situation comes from my many great encounters with the many U-Haul teams throughout the United States. I hope my conveying of this matter can be heard coming from an honest and God fearing Marine, including his family. Incredible customer service. By far the easiest part of my move. The 3 or 4 customer representatives that I worked with (over phone and in person) deserve a giant high-five. I had to change around some locations and get feedback on short notice. Extremely satisfied.

Unfortunately the closing costs of my truck rental incorrectly marked an extra day and I was charged for it. After 4-5 calls to the location and saying I would be called back, the issue was still not resolved, and U-Haul then proceeded to add a late fee for non-payment while I was still trying to resolve the incorrect billing. Now I owe even more on top of incorrect billing and the issue is still not resolved.

I rented several trucks from this location. However, I arrived literally 2 minutes after closing and the staff told me to drop the keys in the dropbox as they are closed. The next day, I discover a $75 cleaning fee. I have never incurred a cleaning fee before as I always clean the truck. The only reason I can think of is the drivers area was dirty (this was already dirty when I received the truck). Highly disappointed that they charge a fee and will not call me back regarding an explanation.

The rate that I ended up receiving was well higher than what I was quoted online when I made the reservation. The person who checked me in acknowledged this, but wasn't able to honor the rate that I was given online, so I ended up paying a lot more than I expected. I am not sure if I will use U-Haul again if I can't rely on the information in my reservation.

Install a more efficient computer system, hire more service reps and hire staff to work the yard so that your customers are served efficiently. Also have air conditioning in your stores.

Literally everything about the process was screwed up. I had two U-Boxes coming to this location, so I reserved a truck to bring the two U-Boxes to my home. I told the person over the phone what I wanted to do, and they reserved the truck for me. Except the U-Boxes weren't delivered here; they were delivered to a different U-Haul location, which I didn't find out until the morning that I arrived to pick them up. That U-Haul was completely booked up for trucks, so I had to rent one from this location, drive it there, and then pick up the U-Boxes there. Except that the truck I had reserved (a pickup truck) wasn't big enough to haul two U-Boxes, so this location gave me a different truck (a 10' truck). But they screwed up again, because it turned out that the truck that they actually rented to me wasn't big enough to haul two U-Boxes — you need a 15' truck. So I show up at the other location and it turns out that I still have to tow the U-Boxes one at a time. Also, the people at this location told me that they were on the phone with the people at the location where my U-Boxes were and everything would be ready in 10-15 minutes when I arrived, but this was a flat-out lie; they had texted someone who hadn't responded, and the U-Boxes weren't ready for over half an hour after I arrived. Nothing about this worked the way that it was supposed to. The customer service was generally bad, the logistics were mishandled, and people didn't seem to know what they were talking about. It was a mess.

Almost robotic person at reservation desk, seemed like she hated her job. Had to wait over 30 minutes for 10 ft vehicle to be located and brought to me. Had 3 customers come behind me and get there vegicles first. When i returned the vegicle there was a real A-hole checking cars in totally brushed me off like i was nonexistent. Im sorry i was such an inconvenience....
