Staff was a nice person but I was not aware pick up times were tentative- office was not open at my designated time. Also I was not aware I needed to take pictures of everything when I pick up to prove gas and vehicle damage. I didn’t know U-Haul service was essentially taking my fee and handing me a key - on my own for everything.

I returned my truck. I was told by a man where to park it. I returned it almost an hour before the return time. The man at the site told me where to place the keys. Today, I was charged a $20 return fee. That's unfair. If there was a live person at the site who told me where to go and what to do, why is it my job to check in the vehicle on my own? I'd like my money back.
Sam RThis whole reservation was a frustrating process. I had to wait an extra day to get the truck unless I was willing to pick it up two hours (RT) in Gilroy. Then I had to wait until noon for the shop to open and the employee didn't even show up until 12:20.
