Let me be the first to say that I am not "that person" who complains for no reason or writes negative reviews just for the heck of it; I've worked in customor service before, so I know how difficult it can be. However, our experience yesterday with U-Haul was beyond miserable. Before we got to Savannah, our reservation that was supposed to be originally fulfilled at 9 AM was never fulfilled, forcing us to go to Savannah in the first place. We got to the location and the woman working there didn't know anything about how to do rentals; it was "someone else's job". She called this person, who just told us to use the app. Fortunately, I have experience with the app, but then the locker that holds the key was very difficult to open. We got to the truck and the battery was dead, so we had to wait almost 1.5 hours for a "roadside assistance" person came to jump start the battery. Absolutely miserable; I'm so disappointed in U-Haul.

RONNIE HWe are highly disappointed in U-Haul. We moved across the country with all of our belongings and when we got to the U-Haul drop location which was in the town we moved to we were informed that they stopped being drop location for U-Haul almost two months ago. The location has requested multiple times to be taken off as a drop location but we, and other people keep getting assigned it as a drop location. We had to drive over 30 minutes each way to get to a new drop location to drop the truck off. Highly annoyed and disappointed.
Rose BOriginally we were supposed to drop off the UHaul in Maryville, only to find out once we got there that they no longer were a UHaul location. We had to contact support to get a different location. The Savannah location (20 miles away) was nice, but a couple of pictures would have been very helpful. On the app, there should have been a pic of where to park the vehicle. The location is a grocery store. We had to drive around the store to find the drop off spot. Also a pic of where the key drop off (at the entrance of the grocery store) would have been very helpful for us. We needed to drop it off after/before the grocery store business hours. I would recommend the location with some pics added in the UHaul app to indicate the key pickup and drop off.
