Our truck was rented to someone else (15ft) so we ended up bringing a huge 26 foot truck almost empty 2100 miles and the gas expense was massive. The lady who rented the truck to us was nice. The experience with U-Haul as a whole was awful. The truck had some kind of like armor all product on the floor which our cats were horrified because the truck squeaked so badly. (Outside mirror) we couldn’t seatbelt them in because the middle seat belt was broken. They got on the floor then crawled up us and our clothes were black from the product. I asked someone at a hotel where we stayed if they had any stained sheets and they said yes so that helped. The seatbelt locked on the passenger side so I couldn’t move at all when I wore it. The truck also leaked when it rained and some of our stuff got wet. It just wasn’t a really pleasant experience. We didn’t have a choice on when we were moving we HAD to leave the country we didn’t have a choice and we rented the truck almost a month in advance and it should have been guaranteed. The lady told me on the phone no maam that’s not how it works with U-Haul. You tell us what day you need the truck for and then on the day before that day we text you and tell you what day it will be available. I told her that was a terrible idea of how to run a business. Especially when people are moving. How can people plan? She said maam that’s not my issue. I spent 4 hours in the phone and then by a small miracle we were able to get the 26 foot truck only to spend half of our life savings on gas. The lady did give us a good price on the truck which we were thankful for. She was nice and it wasn’t her fault. It was overall a horrible experience. I will write a Google review to the like but I wanted to make sure that I’m not so angry when I do.

Le charriot avait été entreposé 1) sur un sol mou, 2) dans une pente descendante. Pour 2), quand je levais le timon, le charriot s'éloignait de mon véhicule. Conséquemment, très dangereux pour le dos. Le charriot a été remis avec l'extrémité des sangles toutes effilochées; l'insertion dans le moyeu a été très frustrante.
Jacques DLa prise de possession du camion avec téléphone ne fonctionnait pas et personne répondais au numéro donner pour l'aide avec ceci. A la place ou le camion était stationner, il avais pas de réseaux donc impossible de faire la prise de possession du camion. Vraiment mal expliquer lors de la réservation.
Gabrielle OLa remorque n’a pas de support ajustable. La mise en place de la remorque exige de soulever celle-ci. Si c’est ma femme qui était venu la chercher elle n’aurait jamais été en mesure de la soulever.
Gilmond LI didn’t choose this location, it was changed last minute and it was further away so a big unexpected detour, and I reserved a dolly and there was none at this location, so I just couldn’t have one for my move which is a real problem. They said they didn’t have time to look at the truck before I arrived, there were blankets in there, it didn’t seemed too organized..
