Only one person knew how to check out any uhaul equipment, so I had to wait over half an hour for her to return from lunch. When returning the car dolly later that day, she had gone home for the day. I waited for close to an hour while the two young guys working talked to people on the phone to walk them through the process of checking the dolly back in, but they never did figure it out. They said they would have someone figure it out later and assured me I would not be charged for extra time since they couldn't close the transaction. It was later closed without any further charges so I appreciate that. The right tail light was not working on the dolly, but otherwise it was in good condition and served the purpose for what I needed it.

I turned it in 1 day early so the merchant told me I should get refunded for that he took pictures and helped remove it from my vehicle
Penny MMandatory checking of rentals daily. I arrived and there was a flat tire on the trailer I rented. The staff at the location were absolutely amazing although being that I’d had to drive 2 hours out of my way to get the trailer and then 2 hours back before I could even load the trailer it was extremely frustrating.
BENJAMIN BMy problem is not with the location. The location is fine. The workers were polite and patient, despite U-Haul's catastrophic failure in communicating effectively with them and their complete inability to keep things synchronized. My problem is with U-Haul itself. U-Haul allowed me to reserve my truck as a mobile pickup. This site does not allow for mobile pickups. Knowing this would have saved me much time and frustration. Instead, U-Haul allowed me to book the reservation as a mobile pick up. They allowed me to believe my vehicle would be ready for pickup at the time reserved. They allowed me to get up earlier than I usually would, drive to where the vehicle was, and discover that the my reservation did not have a vehicle assigned to it. I then was unable to contact whomever it was I needed to contact 'in my state', even after hours of operation began. They even went so far as to allow me to rent a furniture dolly when there were none available on site at the time of pickup, though to their credit I have a reimbursement pending for the dolly I did purchase, but this isn't a mark in their favor - it's them fixing their own failure. This entire thing resulted in a massive inconvenience for me, and a failure in my plans to meet with some friends who would be helping me load the truck, as many of them had made plans around this and one in particular keeps a very tight schedule, and as such was unable to meet with us. This is an enormous problem. Again, I cannot stress enough that my problem is not with the location - it is with U-HAUL. U-HAUL — Moving things is already stressful enough without this sort of infuriating nonsense. Please do better.
William VMy bad experience with UHaul was in no way linked to the people at either the pickup or dropoff locations. My very poor experience was with UHaul central and the reservation process.
