Calling uHaul customer service many times and was not given correct information. Was given an inaccurate cost estimate. No call from schedules as promised. Was confirmed booking for a 10 ft truck when location has no 10 ft truck. I suspect Uhaul advertised prices in USD even though giving me a reservation in Canada, did not provide cost in CAD and did not specify which currency was being used. Location pickup was not informed on any Uhaul policies or procedures. I hope to never be a customer of this company ever again and I look forward to giving online reviews to warn others.

The pick up was a disaster. We had a 9 am reservation as we had to pack up and drive across the province in one day with three small children. The person who knew how to do the registration was not there until 10?! There was only one person there who had never done it before and had to tend to customers as it’s also a store. They didn’t start trying to do it until after I phoned U-HAUL and when the person who knew how to do it showed up they just assisted the person in doing it. There was no urgency. We didn’t leave until after 10:30. Not a great experience. However the people were nice and the truck was clean.
Aaltice MU haul tried to send me to cranbrook to drop off which is three hours away. The person on the call wouldn’t budge and didn’t get where we were. Very frustrating! Thankfully the owner of the drop off place made room for me to drop the trailer
Jamie SGet it together. Pay people enough to care and be able to make it work. Nelson and or castlegar should have a location slocan is in the middle of buttfuck nowhere. And super inconvenient.
JASON PDidn't have the equipment I rented, and gave me 2 days notice that they didn't have it. Took two hours for pick up process in person. Made me drop off uhaul extremely far from final destination.
